Long story short, my mother is 74 and has recently lost the ability to walk, even with a walker. She’s been in the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Facility in Dunkirk for a month+ now and is regressing rapidly mentally and physically since being in there. She’s barely eating or drinking and I fear the end may be near. After a few painful conversations where she begged me bring her to her house so she can die there……I’m going to head back east this weekend (I’m currently finishing up a bout with covid or I’d go today) and stay there until she improves or passes. a few questions. The doctor said that she needs to be in a nursing home or 24 hour in home care. Could there be legal ramifications if I pull my mother out of the facility, bring her to her home and stay with her while also hiring part time assistance? I’m ok paying 6-8k a month for her care, but hoping to avoid the 13-20k I’m told it costs for 24hr care. after I access her health, if I feel that she doesn’t have long to live and she continues to go downhill can I get in trouble for taking her out of a stable situation and bringing her to her home to pass? Sad to say, but that could be the situation. does anyone have the website or phone number of any in home senior care? Can’t find much in the Dunkirk area thanks in advance. ❤️

Its not something you can just answer in 2022. You may think you can, but you’re wrong. You have to factor in how the losses play out. Period. In this specific scenario with Pegula, Beane and McD, there is no, “if he doesn’t win one in 2 years, he’s out”. That doesn’t exist. There aren’t currently any numbers involved. Play the games and see what happens. Most likely will be reevaluated in 2 years. The semi hating bipolar fans, may want him gone after this season if we don’t win, but he’ll stick. You’ll complain. I don’t have inside info on the casinos, but two of my friends that have season tickets are routinely selling them for 600-900. Never below 6 from what they tell me. They both have lower level seats. One around the endzone sideline, the other around the 25

I’m not trying to battle here, allen > Rodgers…..but using that game is a tough go imo. The weather in that game was terrible, the niners defense was very good. Their pass rush had their way with the Green Bay oL. Under pressure all game. No Bahktiari, no jenkins, no scantling, Dillon got hurt and missed the 2nd half. And they were facing the 2nd best DL in the league. Bosa and Armstead and were feasting that game each with 2 sacks and 2 qb hits Missing 2 all pro OL- remember the last game Dion Dawkins missed? I’m sure you do. It’s just an unfair statement imo.

I’m sure he can, but it’s not a given. Corey B didn’t hold in college. Didn’t turn out well. Not many nfl punters that I know of never held in college. I’d give him around a 65-70% chance of becoming trustworthy. No reason to believe he can’t…..but realize that there is a chance that he doesn’t….. like Corey B. He’s a good athlete…..but show me the baby. It’s not a given

I shouldn’t speak for him, but I think he’s saying that the skill of holding for kicks isn’t likely to be mastered in a few of months. The only thing that really matters in this competition is his ability to hold. Either they trust him or they don’t . If they don’t, I don’t think he’ll make the team unless they are ok using 2 roster spots for punter. I’m vehemently opposed to such nonsense. Be good enough at holding to gain trust or get cut

Fair points. I like this thought process. Chuck Knoll won his first SB in his 6th season as a coach. Year 6 is approaching for McB. Terry and Kim. What will they decide to do? Based on their ineptitude with the Sabres, I think they would keep McD even if we suffer 2 more serious meltdowns in 22 and 23. Maybe even 24,25,26 Andy Reid coached in Philly for 14 seasons. His best year was, also his 6th. He made it to the SB that year and coached another 8 seasons never reaching it again.

Well said. I was at that game too. That was different. Watching our qB throw 100 million Ints in a soccer stadium, in the first half. i think people crap on him because he played scared. He was too afraid of making a mistake. From my recollection, when we needed a big play, he usually either ran or threw short of the 1st down marker. So many times I was left thinking “we would’ve won that game if Tyrod wasn’t such a p****”. That’s not to discredit his clutch moments, he had a few I’m sure (although not one comes to mind). I liked the guy but that’s who he was. Just a guy-

I’d be happy with Rhodes, King, Haden or Jenkins for close to the minimum. Maybe pick up Will Fuller if he wants a ring and sit him til the playoffs so he can’t get hurt and miss the season. Still holding out hope for Julio or even TY, but won’t hold my breath

I wouldn’t be happy about it, but I wouldn’t blame anyone. He and his staff lost the AFCCG game in 2020. Completely blew a game that we had no business losing last year. If we get blown out in the first rd of the playoffs next year, I don’t see why anyone would be shocked. Disappointed (if you love McD, like I do), is how I would likely feel.

I know about Haden. I was asking you what you knew about Dane Jackson. That’s the guy that Haden will be competing with. He’d be competing for cb 2-4 with the super bowl favorites if he comes to Buffalo. Safety might be a better spot for him in Cleveland. Or possibly switch to safety in Buffalo after Tre’Davious returns of Poyer or Hyde get injured. But I don’t see him as a safety in Buffalo. I think he’d be a starting corner until White comes back, if he signs by next week. The longer he waits, the more likelihood Dane beats him out.
