He often creates them once he realizes he has no leg to stand on. As in this case. He’s done it several times in just this discussion Because some say he sucks. Some say he’s useless. that’s just a ridiculous statement. Curtis Samuel is obviously the most useless actual reciever. Hollins just caught a 4th down TD. 3 TDs on the season. A handful of key 3rd down conversions. And he’s useless as a receiver. You can continue your crusade already proven false. AND he’s a great downfield blocker that has erased his man on several plays. AND he is a great ST player. Recovered a fumble. Great locker room guy. 3M. He’s been a plus player and well worth the 3M people like to cry about.

Consider the sources. Elam has looked solid in his time as a starter. Solid isn’t good enough to get snaps over 2 very good corners. That’s just the reality. Is it a wasted pick? Of course…..but that doesn’t mean he sucks. You should be blinded by the great play of benford and Douglas. They are the reason why Elam never plays.

Definitely rooting for the ravens. The bengals D got destroyed early on largely in part to missing 4-5 of their top DL. They’ll be a true threat come playoffs and I’d rather have a lesser team make the playoffs.

I’d just prefer Ankou on the 53 and JP on the PS.

Lots wrong here- I’m not saying Smoot is a run stopping DT. Smoot has already played some DT in Buffalo, He moves inside in passing downs. similar to how Rousseau had done the same in the past (Rousseau is 3 lbs heavier). Smoot played mostly 4 and 5 technique in Jacksonvilles 3-4 system. He is certainly capable of swinging inside on passing downs 💯 yes- Phillips is 335 lbs- he certainly has the physical attributes of a 1T. He’s just bad vs the run. Always has been minus a handful of starts. He’s a penetrator. Jones, at 317 is plenty big enough for a 1T. I think maybe you’re confusing a 1T with a 0T (3-4 NT)

Partly due to our run game and rac are the basis of our offense. The offense is set up to excel at 1-7 yards a clip. Our rbs are both very dangerous and have a good OL plus big blocking WRs and TEs helping to lead the way for them downfield

someone was going to play the Gabe Davis role. Having WRs that can block was clearly part of their roster building. We had limited funds- 3M and great on STs. Which other 3M WRs that are monsters in the run game, are great ST players and make more spectacular plays did you want to sign? we were paying Matavavich and Neal more to do nothing but ST. Hollins makes less and has contributed by making game winning plays in the receiving game. You don’t like him, but as a Bills fan, you should. Have to believe some people have stick with their first convictions regardless how obviously incorrect they may be.
