  1. Yes, some of you were saying that. say it all day every day. what I did say all day every day is that the WR weren’t nearly as bad as SOME people were saying. I knew we needed a boundary guy if we wanted to compete for a SB. When the season started I predicted we’d win 9- 10 games. People were saying that our WR was historically bad. They were wrong. They will never admit it He’s wrong and he’s right. He’s wrong about cooper and he’s right about Mack. He deserves some credit for our run game He’s wrong and he’s right. He’s wrong about cooper and he’s right about Mack. He deserves some credit for our run game
  2. I agree. I’ve always said that our WR unit wasn’t great to start the season and that cooper makes us better. I knew he’d help open up the offense. I just didn’t think out WR unit was as bad as some made it out to be.
  3. That’s great bro. Love it
  4. Idk- I don’t think they’re saying that we aren’t better with him.
  5. Is anyone debating this though? Cooper forces the defenses to put a greater emphasis on defending the boundaries, which opens up things in the middle of the field and the RBs. There’s not doubt he majors us better and has helped unlock our offense. I don’t think he’s the only reason that our offense is so great, but the sum of the parts are more effective with him on the field.
  6. That’s too funny. How did you find this out?
  7. That’s what you quoted? lol. My bad- it was one of the worst QB performances ever- for sure. If he hits an open Mack Hollins, we likely win that game. If he hits an open Mack Hollins vs the rams, we likely win that game. The 3 games prior to Baltimore we scored 34, 31, 47. Every was eating. Then they didn’t for two games- 1.75 of which our best WR was injured. So Baltimore and Houston just so happen to be proof of something. Meanwhile- we’re one of 4 offenses in the last 24 years to average 3 points per drive. 07 pats, 18 chiefs and 20 packers. Amari cooper must be REALLYy good for him to make that kind of an impact on the teams worst WR unit in the last 40 years. Jordan Matthews 🤣 and to refresh your memory again- I always said that this years WR unit is worse than last year. My only horse in this thread was that your boys comment was one of the dumbest I’d ever seen. And you defended it.
  8. No bigger Shakir fan than me. He’s probably the best yac guy in the league at WR. That said- HoF, I don’t think so. HoVG more likely.
  9. What was I wrong about? Posting a pic of our OL getting confused and beaten up doesn’t prove anything. The ravens schemed up some magic and destroyed out OL. Yes, our WRs sucked that game (CLEARLY not the worst in the last 40 years). Next game- we were without Shakir and Allen went on to press and have his worst game in awhile. He missed open shots and he tried to do too much playing opposite Diggs. And maybe you forgot what I had actually in this thread. I said that this years WRs unit is worse than last years from rip. I never said that this years WR unit is better than last years during the offseason. What I had said was that our offense will be be utilizing our TEs (I was wrong there). I said that we’d be using our RBs more in the passing game, including downfield. That they would help teams play us honest because they can beat the D deep. Not sure if they have kept D’s honest or not, but they’ve been the most effective group of downfield pass catching RBs i can remember. I wasn’t happy about our WR unit…..I just didn’t let my frustration get the best of me and become Karen. Like some. I realized all I could do was sit back and let it play out.
  10. You contended my contention of your boy @BullBuchanan’s statement regarding this being the worst WR unit in the last 40 years. You even backed the 2017/18 units over this unit. You also said that Samuel was a great pickup and have wanted us to add him for years. I did too. yes cooper has transformed us- we wouldn’t be this good without him. But one must consider that Josh had to get used to all these new and different weapons. Teams don’t just gel 💯 in training camp and preseason. They need time. Keon needed time. Hollins needed time. Samuel needed time. Shakir needed time playing as the biggest threat to the opposition. yes, we did need cooper, but we also needed time. Both factors have helped our offense become what it has. This offense has become RB centric- they are a huge part of pass offense. The downfield pass offense, which I had stated. Kincaid hasn’t been what I had thought he would be. Some of that is on Brady Some of that is on Josh. Some of that is on Kincaid. I did say Hollins would be better than you all think and his run blocking would be a key part of our offense. It has been in a big way.
  11. I think he’ll get between 4-5M on a one year deal. Double his check this season. I hope you’re right and we sign him for 2 years 5m total. That’s a bargain for what he brings to this team. We’ll miss him if he leaves You have to be very happy with what he’s brought to the table for us this year, no?
  12. Benford Rousseau Dawkins Shakir Cook Brown
  13. I’m moving the goalposts? Idk, maybe my grammar error caused you to misunderstand my post. Some people were saying that this was the worst Bills WR unit in the last 40 years. I disagreed. I do think cooper has made an impact, even in games last Sunday. I just think the WR unit we had before cooper was a lot better than many suggested. And those saying that the WR unit has performed as they were expected aren’t telling the whole truth imo. Hollins is much better than most of ya’ll said he’d be. Coleman has been good and was hitting his groove before the injury. Shakir has been as advertised but his rac ability has hit a new level imo. He’s even better than last season. Samuel has been an injured bust that seems to be the most expensive gadget guy in the league. But he’s shown up in a few big moments.
  14. Some people said much more than just that.
  15. Ok, makes more sense now. I hope we don’t do that vs the jets
  16. Zion Logue? Seriously? Daquan played fine on Sunday- Phillips had some nice plays as well. Logue was a net zero in his snaps. He had a chance- but he wasn’t good enough and was replaced by better players.
  17. The last few pages are kind of funny. Regarding h the help he got this Sunday- take Ed Oliver out of that game and we likely lose.
  18. I’d say about 20% chance to win the SB- this can change weekly due to injuries to our team and league wide.
  19. You were the one that “went out on a limb”- without actually going out on a limb. My comment did what it was meant to do, as you followed suit. Other than QB, you feel that the raiders team and coaching is equal to the Bills team and coaching. Got it. 👍🏻
  20. No, you’re saying that Josh Allen is the entire team. That IS bashing others. If you don’t understand that, than I don’t know what to say. meanwhile, we have @GoBills808 saying that the raiders would be 11-3 with Josh Allen. Meaning that the raiders team other than 17 is equal to the bills team, coaches included. those are bashes. It’s possible to put one on a pedestal without putting others down. Saying he’s the entire team IS putting others down
  21. Way to go out on a limb and make a prediction that can never be proven wrong. I’m not surprised you would say that. That’s your MO nowadays. Everyone sucks except for Josh.
  22. Correct- no one has ever seen anything like him before. I agree 💯. but saying that he is the entire team is just dumb. He wouldn’t be playing LIKE THIS on the raiders. He wouldn’t be 11-3. He wouldn’t be the MVP. or do you guys think he’d be the MVP and be playing like this wherever he played? As if the team had nothing to do with his improvement from last year to this year. If we still had the same WR that we did last season, he wouldn’t be playing THIS well. Brady has NOTHING to do with how he’s playing? 💯 Josh- no one else. He’s easily the most important player on any team. We aren’t nearly as good without him (especially with Mitch at QB). He’s easily the best player in the league playing at a level I’ve never seen anyone play before. Why can’t you just say that? That’s enough and could actually be correct. Once you say he’s the entire team, you’re just wrong.
  23. Man- is this for real? Replace him with who? I bet we can win a bunch of games with Mahomes, hurts, Goff, Stafford. So under this analogy, every QB that could win a game would be the entire offense. our backup happens to be Mitch- if we didn’t have Josh, we’d have someone better than Mitch. our OL is very good. Without them- he isn’t playing THIS well. The pieces on this team plus our offense have enhanced him and have made him better than in the past- including Brady. Put him on the Raiders and they aren’t 11-3. If it’s ALL him, they would be 11-3 too.
  24. You know nothing about football if you actually think ANY team is entirely one player. It’s just a really bad take. He’s playing QB better than anyone in the history of the NFL (imo)- just say THAT- there’s no reason to bash literally everyone else on the team to get illuminate how great he is. have fun though- this has been entertaining.
  25. So much that I’d argue that he’s currently playing at a higher level than any QB ever. He’s always had the highest ceiling and it looks like he may be actually be close to reaching that ceiling.
