  1. Can the defensive line have themselves a positive game? Can the OL avoid penalties and block effectively? I think that’s what we’ll be talking about after the game. Other than Josh Allen being the best player ever of course
  2. Big time. I don’t think anyone can stop them when they’re focused and hitting on all cylinders. Too much size and power if they execute and don’t commit penalties
  3. Because we don’t have a done- duh
  4. lol. Worse than 2018? No chance. Last year was also better than 2019. the injuries @ LB and CB in the playoffs really hurt- and we still almost beat the champions
  5. Yes- I agree- they should. And they have improved. It wasn’t the same old thing imo. They were playing better football in 2024 than they have the last 20 years. I think it’s way too early to predict whether or not they will turn it around fully. Landing the top QB was the first step and they took a small step forward. The kid is talented but he’s not great….yet. He certainly wasn’t good enough to make that team a contender this season.
  6. That’s why I was laughing
  7. Every team buys their QB. It’s 2025. How many freshman QBs come in and turn around a poor team and make them title contenders in one season? This was no different as far as winning anything meaningful. It’s rhules 2nd year, they had their first season over .500 In 8 seasons and 2 games better than last season. They went to and won a bowl. It is different. They clearly played better football than under past regimes. Did you expect a freshman QB to completely turn things around and become a national power in his first year? He’s not THAT good right now. He may never be tbh….. but they have improved in 2 years under Rhule. They aren’t a national contender in 2 years…..if that’s what’s expected, 🤷🏻‍♂️ But things ARE different there. I believe Rhule will be there for quite awhile and they’ll be in the mix for some playoffs in the next 5 years.
  8. Sure, they can be found in any round. Again, I obviously feel that Rapp is better than anyone they are going to draft in rd 3-5 or any FA they’re going to sign. We’ll see
  9. same- it wasn’t because I didn’t think he could be great. I didn’t think we’d be able to develop him enough to become great. for all the heat mcd takes around here, me included, he doesn’t get enough credit for Josh’s development. Many don’t give him any credit.
  10. Corbin Laconia…..had me pissing my pants
  11. that’s a fair assessment-. I guess I just think rapp has been one of our better defenders this season and has earned another year. I can’t imagine Bishop being much better than Rapp has been this year and I don’t think they’ll sign a FA that’s better than Rapp. But you could be right. You hate McDermott, so I understand why you feel this way. I also think that you feel this way because you hate McDermott. While the fans may be a small piece to the puzzle, I think it’s just that- one of many reasons to bring him back
  12. Maybe they will be good again? I think the reasons others think they are on an upswing is because they think the current positives outweigh past seasons. I agree with them. Idk if they’ll be a national powerhouse like they used to be, I doubt they will reach that level, they were on the mountaintop for a bit imo)…. But I do think they will be a perennially ranked team that will considered MUCH better than everything post solich
  13. Yeah- he was the first guy that I thought of. Mr reliable. Mr Gets ish done. Kind of reminds me of Fred Jackson in that way. that said- he doesn’t have much experience returning punts. I think he had like 2 or 3 in college and has had zero as a pro. I don’t think he’s the guy based on that. It would be a reckless decision imo
  14. Drafting another safety? Do you think Cole bishops career is over after one season? Rapp is under contract for 2 more years. Bishop for 3. While I think bishop and Rapp are similar and both best at SS, I also think that mcd wanted them to be similar, not to back one each other up, but to start next to each other. sure, we’ll probably draft a depth S. I’d highly doubt any safety we’d draft next year would be in the running to start unless he was another Christian Benford. A late round flyer that turned out to be a gem, rather than a higher pick selected to start.
  15. So you think it was done for publicity? Not to get him in the DB room and help the DBs; to be a great locker room presence; to possibly get him a ring; to be last resort depth? No? It was done as a publicity stunt….. man, that’s just stupid
  16. Ahh ok. I must’ve misread. I thought class was happening during the game
  17. I hope you’re right. I just keep replaying that Ravens game in my head and how they manufactured pressure, not with talent, but with scheme and confusion. That’s what Joseph has done a great job with this season and they have multiple guys that can get after the QB
  18. That’s brutal- I’m not the man you are- I’d call out 💯
  19. Just seeing this now- that sucks. Probably won’t pan out, but I loved watching him play at Georgia.
  20. 🤣 I was just about to call him “The Klopf 2.0”
  21. I’m not saying I think he WOULD be fired. I think he SHOULD be fired if we lose on Sunday.
  22. This is a “saga” 10 years later? 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🤦🏻‍♂️
  23. I agree….but a loss on Sunday and I’d fire him and get an offensive guy so Josh doesn’t have to deal with a new OC every 1-2 years. we’re supposed to be getting better year after year and we are getting worse if we lose on Sunday- no way that a defensive HC with the best QB on the planet lose to a WC team led by a rookie QB that has beaten one decent team all season. I’m a fan of McD, but a loss Sunday and he needs to go
  24. If we lose to Denver, Ben Johnson better be the HC in Buffalo
  25. Yeah Allen is tough too. As is Cooper. It’s a solid front and Joseph has been excellent on coordinating pressure all season. but our Allen is better- hopefully the OL can play like they have all season
