No he didn’t. we built a team that was supposed to run over the opposing defenses. It did all year. Until we needed it most tonight… partly due to an unfavorable spot.

I just didn’t want it to come down to: the refs- the spot by the one ref that snatched the ball while the other ref had clearly given it to us; and the worthy “catch”- sigh injuries- Benford goes down- Elam gets victimized. kickers- bass did his part. Kincaid sucks- 😢

I ascribe it to them not being on the same page and Kincaid running a lot of routes in which Allen has never been very accurate throwing. I don’t know the numbers off hand and I’m not going to look them up because I’m having a blast with the boys- but Marino and Nolan have stated the numbers.

Yeah- you think. That’s fine. You may be right- but another reason he has a low catch% is the amount of uncatchable passes thrown his way.

Not sure if this is directed at me Nolan and Marino have established that Kincaid was the recipient of the highest % of uncatchable passes of any tight end in the league. I believe that uncatchable rate was in the 20% range but not sure. I do know that he was leading the league in that stat towards the end of the season I don’t think that’s all on Josh. I think part of that is likely on Dalton- but I’m not going to pretend to know- so I’ll assume it’s partly on both of them. Comparing the passes that Shakir is receiving (mostly screen and 1-2 yard passes) to the passes that Kincaid is receiving (lots of 15-20 yard out according to Nolan, a pass Josh have never thrown well) are apple to oranges. They are not the same. You know this Lol- please show me something that says Kincaid is better than bowers- no- I’m not confusing anything. You are blinded by your love of this team and the player. He’s good. You are saying that he’s way better than Bowers and Laporte - please show me something that agrees with this statement. I’m not talking about a scouting report from 3 years ago. Bowers was ALWAYS seen as a better prospect than Kincaid. ALWAYS. You’re not just saying that Kincaid is better…. But WAY better. And you couldn’t be more wrong

That’s fine and dandy- but he does block and he does block effectively sometimes. You said he doesn’t block. That’s going overboard. that’s not the only thing you’re going overboard about. Calling him a “weak link” - he’s underperformed and is not what we expected- I don’t see him as an “weak link”- overboard. “Choking last week”- I didn’t hear anyone say Josh choked by throwing an off target pass- yet Kincaid choked by not being able to real in an off target pass. overboard. I think the discussion about him being better than bowers and Laporta may have gotten your blood boiling and it’s still on the stove. Or maybe you just think he’s that bad- either way- I think you’re going overboard. He’s a good player. He’s not what we expected

I think you’re starting to go overboard. dalton blocks. He’s not great- but he often effective enough to give the ball carrier room. I think you started this with a clear head but have started to see red and ramble

💯 Everyone yelling about how we need to focus on becoming an unstoppable passing attack because it’s a passing league. No it’s not. It’s a balanced league. If you aren’t balanced- the likelihood of winning a SB are small imo. we became a physical bully. Kromer, Brady, McGovern moving to C, Edwards being more physical than Morse, Anderson being an emotional brute. We had 3 TDs vs the physical ravens D. All rushing. I don’t think that was possible in the past. We impose our will when needed. That’s the biggest difference imo. We need to be the bullies today and, god willing, in another 2 weeks.
