Are there any racist institutions? How and why.

I agree with Tibs here. Fighting Democrats is a worthy cause. Oh, don't forget that the KKK is the militant wing of the Democrat party. -
Personally, I support this. I am willing to make the sacrifices necessary so that I can be paid to be unwilling to work. Where is the money coming from? The rich, of course. I think making them pay their fair share - say 400% of their total wealth - would be sufficient and just.

Weinstein Convicted Of Rape
Koko78 replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Wende does have good medical facilities. I like their staff as well - they're pretty friendly to deal with. I figured he would probably end up there; I'm just surprised they took him directly there for reception. Normally inmates go through ~30 days of reception at designated facilities near where they were convicted, before being sent wherever by DOCCS. I wonder if it was due to his medical issues being that bad, or (because he is high risk, and was likely going to Wende anyhow) they just took him there directly because of the Kung Flu. -
Well, at least you're getting better at using the quote function. Keep practicing, though.

If you can't even secure an endorsement from East Timor, you should re-evaluate your campaign. -

Interesting that DOCCS took him to Wende for reception, instead of a reception center near NYC before transferring him out this way. Just for funsies, his earliest release date is 11/09/2039. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

The Courts in NY closed at 5pm on Monday. Only "essential" matters can be handled, such as arraignments (such as they are under the bail reform), Orders of Protection issuance/extension, Child Welfare emergency removals, etc. All town, village, and city courts are closed, other than night/weekend/holiday arraignments, with any emergencies/arraignments during the weekdays being handled in designated courthouses (mostly county courthouses) by designated judges (a family/county/supreme court judge). As usual, the response in NY is halfassed, completely violates numerous laws (oh, and the NYS/US Constitutions), and was poorly thought-out. There were 3-4 memos over the weekend from the chief administrative judge in Albany, with things changing by the hour on Monday. Oh, and Habeas Corpus has apparently been suspended by administrative fiat. So that's fun. -

Yeah, the NY Court system did the same thing Monday. -
Damn, I didn't think the State Farm PepsiCo KFC turquoise marble was going to get back into the action once it lost the lead. It ran a hell of a race and never gave up.

The "Patriot Way" is why Brady is gone. He was kicked to the curb, just like every other aging veteran who wanted to get paid over the years. Brady carried that team for years - he was the ultimate system QB, who remained in the right system for 20 years. Next season I'd wager heavily their offense is going back to dink and dunk passing with a ball-control oriented offense, relying on the defense to carry the team (like Brady's first few years as the starter.) Belichick potentially being done in the next couple years is a more interesting topic. I can see him wanting to break Shula's record for wins before retiring, if he can keep the team together and winning. Remember, this is a guy who will run up scores just to show his superiority by embarrassing other teams.

Nah, Trump ruined Obama's recovery for reasons. Once the downturn reverses itself, Obama can continue to receive the deserved credit for his 11th Summer of Recovery! PRAISE BE OBAMA!

Because the expectation was that when the weather warmed up getting towards summer, the instances of the virus would decrease. Of course, still being in the early stages of this histrionic nonsense, who knows if it means anything that it's 97 degrees in SE Asia.
