  1. Eh, I can't say that I blame him. Anyone who has had to sit though a Browns game over the past few years needs a bong hit and shots to make it to the end.
  2. I would agree that the key for the Bills defense is to actually tackle the ball carrier this week. I just don't see the Aints pounding the ball 60% of the time - that's just not what they do. The Bills defense has been pretty good against the pass because they haven't given up *that* many yards after catch to opposing offenses, and they tighten up the zones in the red zone. A buttload of interceptions helps too. They're not going to stop Brees from completing pssses, but if they can limit the receivers by tackling them almost immediately, the Bills have a good shot at limiting the scoring.
  3. If they had only put a 'gun free zone' sign in front of the church...
  4. I do. It's just not the Saints style of offense to be ground and pound. No question they're going to run the ball some, but not as much, or as effectively, as the Jests ; they just aren't built to be that team. My major concern is the pass rush not challenging Brees. If he's consistently given 3+ seconds to throw, it's going to get ugly.
  5. The Aints aren't exactly going to be running the ball down the defense's throat.
  6. On the bright side, crowd noise won't be an issue!
  7. Isn't the very definition of 'Nazi' anyone who doesn't agree with a liberal?
  8. My guess would be that there will be at least two different counts of Murder 2nd, one under a straight 'he committed an act to intentionally kill the person' theory, and one under the felony-murder doctrine alleging that the person was killed during the commission of another felony. I would wager that the indictment will have a good number of charges. As for premeditation, it's probably not going to be worth the extra effort at trial to try to prove premeditation for what amounts to little benefit at sentencing (assuming that they can prove premeditation at all). The maximum sentence for Murder 2nd is 25-to-Life, and for Murder 1st is Life without Parole. The guy probably isn't going to make parole for a good long time after the 25 year minimum anyhow. Probably not worth risking overcharging him unless the evidence of premeditation is very solid.
  9. 6 overtimes, college OT rules.
  10. That would be the Danes.
  11. I don't expect him to be much more than a decoy this week, with not more than a few targets. He needs to build that timing/reading relationship with Tyrod, which, I imagine, is hard to do with just a couple practices. That said, however, I am not opposed to Tyrod feeding him the ball all game for 200+ yards and 4 TDs...
  12. The Burg 1st is just a placeholder charge to lock him up. They will finalize the charges through the Grand Jury process. Odd phrasing, but nothing out of the ordinary.
  13. He was denied a license to carry a gun by Texas. http://wgntv.com/2017/11/06/texas-church-shooting-suspect-devin-kelley-denied-gun-license-governor-says/
  14. He was not allowed to possess firearms due to his dishonorable discharge (for domestic violence). Please explain how keeping firearms away from citizens who actually follow the law is an intelligent response to this tragedy. By the way, the murderous rampage was stopped by a neighbor shooting at him with a "stupid metal bringer of death".
  15. Never let a crisis go to waste, eh? People are dead, time to politicize it! Stay classy PJ, stay classy.
  16. Keeping Watkins, Woods, and Dareus would have let the Bills be 10-0 at this point in the season.
  17. Tyrod is undefeated as a starter in the playoffs. Wilson is not.
  18. That doesn't matter: The Bills lost and Watkins scored. Therefore, the Bills suck. FIRE EVERYONE!
  19. Just as long as they don't play "bad cop/worse cop".
  20. Good for GSP. Bisping is an ass.
  21. It's ok though, he was forced to give a fake apology and slightly tweak the article.
  22. They're trying to look tough on DV, after the Ray Rice boondoggle. Though this isn't the case to do it, especially where the alleged victim was caught conspiring to blackmail him with the allegations.
  23. Well, considering that 60 touchdowns is not even close to anything I've ever said, I stand by my assessment of your rather idiotic strawman argument. You're right about the 15 touchdowns, though. His average is 18 throwing and 3 rushing per season. Franchise numbers. Give the man a $160 million contract for that production. Hell, just put him on the wall of fame and schedule his induction in Canton for next summer.
  24. You're right, the math was off. It's actually 18 TDs per season he averages. Whoopty-!@#$ing-do.
