  3. The Worst Delusion: Biden Believes He's Winning in the Polls March 06, 2024 Joe Biden told reporters today, who asked about his response to Democrats who are concerned about his bad poll numbers, that he’s actually won the last five polls against Trump and they are only looking at the one from the New York times. But this isn’t even remotely true, no matter whether you look at RCP or Five Thirty Eight. Biden is delusional, which is nothing new. But hey, I hope he keeps believing that he’s ahead in the race for the rest of the year. https://hotair.com/headlines/2024/03/06/the-worst-delusion-biden-believes-hes-winning-in-the-polls-n3784146
  4. US to Israel: How About a Pause to Build Up Hamas' Trust? How about go pound sand? Joe Biden, along with other Western allies of Israel, desperately need a pause in the fighting for their own domestic-politics concerns. And so does Israel, which is why they continue to engage negotiations for a hostage deal. But somehow the dynamics of a war started by Hamas and the Gazans have been inverted into a situation where the onus for trust-building has landed on the country attacked. The "US" hasn't grown frustrated with Israel; Americans have much greater clarity on this conflict than do Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, and the rest of the progressive clique running policy these days. Two weeks ago, a Harvard/Harris CAPS showed 82% of Americans supporting Israel, and 67% opposed to any cease-fire in which Hamas remains in Gaza and without the return of all hostages. In other words, hostages first, then pauses. Not only is Biden and Blinken getting this backward, now they want Israel to pause their military operations in Gaza in a war started by the Gazans to build "trust" with the terrorists. And for what? Has Hamas offered any moderation of their demands during this entire process? Nope: https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2024/03/06/us-to-israel-how-about-a-pause-to-build-up-hamas-trust-n3784176

  7. And Then There Were 28: Louisiana Becomes Most Recent State to Pass Constitutional-Carry Law by Ward Clark On Tuesday, Louisiana became the 28th state to pass legislation allowing the carry of handguns without a permit, often referred to as "constitutional carry." The law, originally Louisiana Senate Bill 1, was signed into law by Governor Jeff Landry."Today, we join 27 other states in passing Constitutional Carry. I promised the folks of Louisiana that I would champion Constitutional Carry into law, and within two months, I have honored that commitment," Republican Gov. Jeff Landry told Fox News Digital. "It's fundamentally clear — law-abiding citizens should never have to seek government permission to safeguard themselves https://redstate.com/wardclark/2024/03/05/and-then-there-were-28-louisiana-becomes-most-recent-state-to-pass-constitutional-carry-law-n2170969#google_vignette .

  10. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema Won’t Run for Re-Election. Centrist has played pivotal role in series of bipartisan deals but angered progressives. “Had she chosen to run for re-election, her path to the nomination would have been difficult, something her own team acknowledged. A flier circulated by Sinema’s camp at one point and viewed by the Journal said a winning formula for her could include 10%-20% of Democrats, 60%-70% of independent voters and 25%-35% of Republicans—margins that far exceed her 2018 totals with independents and Republicans.” https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/sen-kyrsten-sinema-wont-run-for-reelection-0af004de?mod=e2tw
