  1. Tucker will start for him. Wasn't half the board bichin' about Teague? No they get to see what it would be like with someone else in there.
  2. I'd love to know just who their sources are.
  3. We gave a bonehead like Williams 3 years, I'll give Mularkey more than 3 games. Besides he's got a 5 year deal, he's here for awhile.
  4. I'm hoping Cards win too. Only because they've always been one of my favorites behind the....(gulp)...Mets.
  5. They already expect the Jets and Pats to meet as undefeated teams in a few weeks. They are already asking Edwards about that scenario. There's nothing that pisses me off more than when a team is getting overlooked; even moreso when its our Bills. I know most of you are down on this team, but for some reason I feel real good about this week. I would love to take the Jets off the ranks of unbeatens. GO BILLS!
  6. Apparently almost anyone on TBD.
  7. Actually I'm more optimistic that this can be turned around now than after the Raiders loss. Its mostly just dumb mistakes now, but what does worry me is what happened to the defense. They are giving up way too many big plays.
  8. Possibly Baker in at SS, Wire is just flat out BAD. Mix up the RB's a little, get McGahee in for about 5-8 carries a game. QB we are stuck with DB until at least JP gets a couple weeks of practice in. Other than that there is not much you can do, they just have get their heads in the game and eliminate penalties.
  9. 0-0 Tie and all starters break their legs on both teams.
  10. I have been a Sullivan basher, but the last couple of columns have been pretty accurate.
  11. Great optimistic post! Keep it up, this board could use some optimism. There seem to be very few of us that see the team actually beginning to make strides.
  12. Agree Todd, except for the Bootleg call on a critical down. Bledsoe said they were leaving him alone after the hand off all day, so why try it on 4th, MM could just as easily tried it on third and hopefully it would have ended at least without the fumble, then we still have 4th. I just don't like gadget plays on 4th downs. When the game was over, I wasn't devestated like most people on this board are. I was actually okay with it, I thought we made strides. The O moved the ball, special teams played great. The stupid penalties killed us again, hopefully that can be fixed. If anything I was disappointed with the Defense, they can't continue to give up huge plays! What was it 3rd and 35 results in a 40 yeard pass, another 30 yard TD - I think that was third down. The D plays great then just falls apart when they need to step up. I think we're almost there and it will start with a victory against the Jests... I hope...
  13. Honestly, I believe it is possible to win those 5 games, I agree with you there. But realistically, a lot of the mistakes that caused us to lose the first three will continue. They are not just going to stop all of a sudden, they'll gradually get less and less. Although, I do see us beating the Jests and 'Phins. I see us at the halfway mark at 3-5 which isn't very good, but that does mean 3-2 in our next 5. God I hope I'm right.
  14. That rule, I understand. Because when the whistle blows players start to let up, so not everyone is going for a loose ball that normally would. My problem is the referees are too quick on the whistle a lot of the time.
  15. I always thought that too. I mean its great when it happens to the other team but I never understood that rule.
  16. That's this team's biggest problem, its not Drew, its not Henry, nor Moulds, or any other one particular player. The problem is the stupidest most ill-timed penalties I have ever seen! If these stupid penalties don't happen this team is probably 3-0 even with the drops, bad passes, missed blocks, or tripping over the hash marks. All of these problems are magnified because of the losing, but the major problem is penalties which is a direct result of no discipline and there I blame the coaching staff.
  17. Something like that should not have been run on 4th and 3. If they were thinking of that, it should have been done on 3rd down, I know the result could have been the same, but you don't do a trick play on 4th down. Huge very bad call for the new coaching staff. Although, if it actually worked we'd be calling him a genius right now.
  18. Where do you get that he is escaping blame? Who's not putting any blame on TD? He's getting a lot of the blame.
  19. To be honest, I think right now the problem is coaching. I don't think we were "fleeced" by anyone. The coaching staff has to come down hard on everyone who makes a dumb penalty. Penalties right now are what is killing us, this team needs discipline.
  20. You forgot, when a coach calls a freakin' naked bootleg on 4th and 3. Don't do the trick plays on 4th!!! If that was done on 3rd down things may have been different.
  21. I still think we're slowly getting better. If we could just stope the damn penalties.
  22. New England at Buffalo, NE ahead 24-17, Buffalo's ball 4th and 2 in NE territory. Play action pass, Bledsoe sacked, fumble returned for TD. TMQ wrote Game Over.
  23. Bingo, that was exactly it. If we kept them to FG there I get the feeling this game would have ended with the Bills on the winning side.
  24. Agree. I don't think we're going to the Superbowl but they haven't been playing terrible. The OLine didn't do too badly until the end. We'll win next week.
  25. Sorry couldn't disagree more. This team is close to winning these games. With a new coaching staff you have to expect this. Eliminate the dumb penalties and we win these games.
