  1. He hasn't done stevestojan for the Bills because he only played in 2 friggin' games! Give 'im a break. Let him get used to playing with these guys before you rail on him.
  2. I voted "Can, but Won't". The Bills are definitely playing much better and NE is hurting with injuries. However the Bills' road record and Sunday night record are horrid. They'll win a couple of road games this year, but I doubt if it starts in New England. The Pats are tough at home against Buffalo. Patriots 24 Buffalo 13
  3. I originally said New England-Seattle, but ya gotta be thinking Pittsburgh-Philadelphia now. I just don't see much in the NFC except Philly and the AFC Pittsburgh proved just how good they are by handling two of the best teams in the league in successive weeks. Of course, now that I said that, they'll probably lose to Cleveland this week.
  4. I agree, they should trade the pick and stock up on draft picks they need a whole lot more than one first pick.
  5. Of course a nice deep strike to Evans on the first play would be great also!
  6. Yeah, I see them coming out like they did against Indy on opening night. No RB and the hurry up offense. I hope we win the toss and receive so we can keep the pace down by running McGahee constantly. A nice long drawn out drive to start the game would be great.
  7. They're still making mistakes in play calling and time management but that'll come with more experience. Overall, I'm pretty pleased.
  8. Technically not impossible to predict, there are only a finite number of choices, so once all choices have been used in a prediction, someone is guaranteed to be right and at the end of the year they can say, "See, just what I predicted before the 2nd NE game."
  9. On Depth chart, I didn't see it posted. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
  10. Well before the season I got caught up in all the hype and said 11-5. So we'd have to run the table for me to be right, which would be great, but not reasonable.
  11. Also the expectations of WM are much higher, being a first round draft choice. Most of the others were just second rate backs. McGahee was a talent from the start until the knee injury at least. Although, I'm more cautiously excited about him than the rest. I'd like to see him get through the year first.
  12. Couldn't have said it any better myself. I'll root like hell for them to make the playoffs, even though in my head, I know it is nearly impossible.
  13. Speaking of Gallery, I read somewhere yesterday that Gallery has been no better than average for the Raiders and is somewhat of a dissappointment so far. It may have been Peter King's article.
  14. That's actually a legitimate question. Everyone assumes Brees is going but with the offense moving like it is now, they may not want to get rid of Brees who is still quite young (25 or 26?). If that's the case, I could see Rivers going to Green Bay, with Favre still wanting to play another couple of years.
  15. I'm really surprised that "intelligent" (I use that term loosely) sports radio people would think that this team is still a bad team. The Bills are a lot better than the last time we played only a few weeks ago, and we came close to beating them back then. With the Pats as injured as they are and the Bills relatively healthy, depending on Vincent's health, I actually think the Bills may be fielding the better team. If this game was at home, I'd almost be surprised if they Bills lose this game. But since its on the road, where we all know how they've played recently, I give the Pats the edge because of that and better coaching. But to think this will be a blowout is a lot of overconfidence. If the Bills continue to not turn the ball over, we will win this game.
  16. I think you pretty much hit on the top contenders for Brees next season. I was thinking the Ravens too, but from what the TV Crew was saying, the Ravens actually like Boller a lot. I think the fins will be the team that really tries hard to get him. But if Brees wants to stay on the west coast it will be Oakland.
  17. I didn't read any other responses so I son't know what everyone else said, but I think the Bills have a decent chance, but it will be difficult. The Pats are banged up and the Bills are starting to gain a lot of confidence. I don't think the Bills will win for two reasons: 1. Its a Sunday night game and the Bills have been horrendous on Sunday nights over the past few years. 2. Its in New England. You notice I didn't say anything about the play on the field, that's because I think the Bills on a neutral field or at home would beat the Pats this week. They'll come out too tight because of the Prime Time game and lose 24-13.
  18. I don't think you'll be saying that when JP runs and doesn't slide.
  19. That was my thought, too. I didn't see the game so I didn't see any replays so I couldn't tell if he was really in or not by the highlights. But, I just figured its about time the Bills actually got a break at the end.
  20. I was really worried about this game because I knew the Jests would not be affected by the wind like the Cards were. I doubt the wind played into the equation much at all. The Trenches, baby! The game was won in the trenches! When was the last time I was able to say that for the Bills with a straight face!
  21. Yes I caught that show. My wife loves it and if there's a bad game on Sunday nights I'll catch it too. It was a very good show, its amazing what those guys can do in only a week. Last night's show almost had me in tears at the end.
  22. If Haddad can't go because of the hammy, they'll probably split Willis out wide or one of the TE's.
