  1. We've only played 5 games against winning teams (as their records stand today). Those being 2 against NE-which most teams lose against, 2 against Jets and won one which isn't bad to be 1-1 against a team in your own division and the loss to the Ravens before the Bills started getting their act together. I would say that's not too bad, at least they are beating the teams they should beat. Arguments about the opposition's records really make no sense in today's NFL. You have your elite teams, usually 2 or 3 of them, which are very difficult to beat. Then you have your teams that absolutely suck and this year there is really only one, the 49ers, and everyone else that can beat each other at any time. Any time you get a win in today's NFL, its a good win and a win against an elite team is a great win.
  2. No one has the Bills D in your league? I have them in two of mine and they have been really racking up the points for me. The only game lately they didn't give me anything was the NE game.
  3. Doesn't matter what the Steelers do that last game, we still have to play the Browns. The other games don't matter if we lose this one.
  4. This will end up being a lot closer than we think. Buffalo 28 Browns 24
  5. Let me add another, I just read a thread that someone brought back from the beginning of the season. I actually picked the Seahawks to beat the Pats in the Superbowl...What an ass!
  6. I won't go back to previous years, but I'd have to say calling for Bledsoe's head after the Sunday night game against NE. I was so pissed at him after that game. But we wouldn't be hoping for playoffs right now if JP was put in for the next game.
  7. I haven't seen Emmit Otters Jug Band Christmas in probably 20 years! My favorites are Charlie Brown and Year Without a Santa Claus. I even have one of those snowmen that spin a string of snowflakes and sings the Cold Miser song.
  8. I still think they were great wins for the Bills. They came up big when they had to, that's the most important thing. Its good to see we can put as many points on teams like that as Green Bay can. Also, hold Seattle to only 9 points in their own house, that's great.
  9. Its possible, but unlikely. If all we had to do was win out and we were in, then I'd be more optimistic, unfortunately, an awful lot of other things need to fall into place. However, I don't believe that we will beat out the Jets, our fight is against the Ravens, Jaguars, Bengals and Broncos. I see the Jets a lot like the Chargers, a team you keep thinking is going to start losing but somehow just continues to win. New York is as good as in (How I hope I jinxed them with that last statement. )
  10. Schottenheimer hands down is coach of the year so far. IF MM gets Buffalo in the playoffs he will be a strong candidate.
  11. I think he means 3 feet tall, because it the perfect height for...well, you know, ah..servicing. And flat heads so he has somewhere to put his beer.
  12. In the preseason I said Pats and Seahawks, obviously that's not going to happen now. I'll stay with the Pats, they just seem to get it done every week. This weekend I think we're seeing a preview of the NFC Championship game. In the end it will be Eagles over the Pats.
  13. Considering black bears are considered to be quite docile and sometimes even friendly, that kind of throws your whole reason for the nickname out the window.
  14. I was happy with TD before, so, yes I'm happy with him now. His biggest mistake was GW, but he corrected that and now, hopefully, this staff will produce. He did all he could to get the right players in here, now its time for the players to take responsiblity and produce as they should.
  15. It was Sauerbrun (sp) that threatened him. In fact, with the Panthers having kicker problems (Kasay is injured), they were going to look at signing Grammatica a while back and Sauerbrun was vehemently against it so the Panthers never brought him in.
  16. Don't know if this was ever mentioned yet, but wanted to give everyone a heads up. I was listening to the Dan Patrick show on ESPN Radio yesterday and they had Michael Irvin on. Irvin mentioned in passing that he is going to be interviewing Willis this week for the Sunday NFL Countdown show. I'm no fan of Michael Irvin but I'll be watching anyway for this.
  17. Any road game for this team is tough, it doesn't matter who we play. This team has won one road game and now all of a sudden we're world beaters. How about we take care of Miami first, then worry about the next game. If we lose to Miami everything else means nothing.
  18. I love the Manning one, but you're right that Favre one was great too.
  19. There's no way this is an easy win. We are the much better team, but Miami still has a pretty good defense and they will be up for a division game against a team that they feel they should beat. And on the road, just because we beat Seattle on the road doesn't mean we can beat everyone. If the Bills aren't 100% focused on this game we could lose this one.
  20. Sounds about right. Very outside shot at finishing 10-6, we'll stumble somewhere, obviously Pittsburgh is the toughest game. All others are winnable, but then again we can lose any of those too. 8-8 is very realistic.
  21. Holy stevestojan! Anyone have a paper towel, I've got to wipe the coffee off of my monitor. Didn't read the entire thread yet, how could I, I'm still laughing my as off! That was the funniest fuggin' thing I have ever read on this board! Now I can't wait to get back to it and read the rebuttals! I bet the word "Idiot and Moron" will be used.
  22. This is exactly how I feel. Drew didn't let the picks get under his skin today. That's just the way Kelly used to be. He'd throw a pick and go right back at it.
  23. Seattle 24 Buffalo 20 Road game against a good team, we lose.
  24. Here goes that hindsight is 20/20 thing again. I remember everyone saying that year get rid of Kelly, he needs to retire or be traded. If Ralph knew what was in store for him the next few years, he probably would have extended him.
  25. There are only 6 games left, how much longer do we have to wait and se eif he plays well this year?
