  1. That's why I keep Bledsoe. Not necessarily as the starter but at least as a backup. Let the two of them battle it our in the preseason. There's no reason to cut Bledsoe it won't save us much if anything after bringing in another vet to backup up Losman.
  2. At least we know Lindell can hit them from 19 yards out, farther than that its a crapshoot but he's been great on PAT's.
  3. Agreed. I'd like to see a definite open competition for the starting QB role. Bledsoe will probably be named the starter for the mini camps, but I would hope that MM does give JP an opportunity to show how much he has progressed during the off season. By the time the preseason comes around I'd like to see JP with the starting unit at least as often as Drew. I do not advocate getting rid of Bledsoe, even with his salary I'd like to see him back up and mentor JP for another year if JP does get the starting nod in 05.
  4. Seahawks over the Rams 34-28 'Hawks won't lose twice to Rams at home. Packers over the Vikings 23-17 Don't like a dome team at Lambeau in the playoffs. Chargers over the Jests 31-13 no confidence in Pennington. Colts over the Broncos 38-21 at Indy I don't see Denver D stopping Manning.
  5. There was a post about it yesterday or the day before (someone saw the taping or something). But I find it interesting what he says about the progression of Losman and Mularkey's wish that he could take back the FG attempt and go for it.
  6. I said if she wants a Scion so bad get the tc, but she thinks the xb is cute...cute...who the hell wants to drive around in a "cute" car.
  7. My wife works for Toyota and is trying to talk me into one of those stupid Scion xb's. Ugliest friggin' thing on four wheels.
  8. I'm not a Bledsoe apologist or hater, at this time I'm up in the air about the QB situation, I need to seperate myself from Sunday's game a little more before I really get into it. However here is a good article that states a case for Bledsoe. Its on the front page of TBD from Bob Dicesare of the Buffalo News. Sorry if its been posted before. Now go ahead and beat each others' brains in some more.
  9. That's true. Before every game this year, the talk of the other team was stop the Bills running game or get up on them early and you put the game in Bledsoe's hands. There is no team that was worried about Drew this year when we played them.
  10. Ralph loves the guy, he'll be back. And I don't see any reason why he shouldn't.
  11. Sorry if this was posted but Tuesday Morning QB absolutely torches the Bills. It is a good read and doesn't single out any one player, but criticizes the entire team including coaches: TMQ Here's a sample of TMQ on NFL.com "Tis Better to Have Rushed and Lost Than Never to Have Rushed At All (Playoff-Bound Collapse Edition) Leading 17-16 at the end of the third quarter at home with Steelers' starters leaving to take comfortable seats, the seemingly playoff-bound Bills faced third-and-1 on the Pittsburgh 11, on a day when Willis McGahee averaged 4.4 yards per rush. Run up the middle? Instead pass, offensive interference against Buffalo. A third-down gain brings the ball back to the same point, but now it's fourth-and-1. Run up the middle? If you fail the opponent's third-string gentlemen are pinned deep in their own territory with the crowd roaring at experimental-scramjet decibels. Instead field-goal attempt, missed from 28. These two mincing fraidy-cat calls on third-and-1 and fourth-and-1 are promptly punished by the football gods with 10 lightning points for Pittsburgh. Now it's Steelers 26, Bills 17 early in the fourth quarter, with Pittsburgh practice-squad guys populating the field. Buffalo faces third-and-1 on the Steelers 48. Run up the middle? Instead attempted trick play, loss of yardage. On fourth-and-6 from midfield, Buffalo punts, even though the whole season is on the line and you're playing against third-stringers. Emboldened by this mincing fraidy-cat failure to seize the day, the Pittsburgh third-stringers staged their clock-killer drive, and the home team did not get the ball back until almost the two-minute warning. For everything else that went wrong for the Bills on Sunday, had Buffalo simply run up the middle on even one of three late-game short-yardage downs, the Bills would likely now be preparing for the playoffs. "
  12. Its good to hear inside stuff like this, because you know we'll be given the same old stuff through the media.
  13. I don't really have a comment on Warner vs. Bledsoe, but if you're looking for a character guy and a mentor, who better than Drew? If thats what you're looking for in a vet backup, Drew is your guy.
  14. It sucks that we lost to scrubs, but, who knows it may help in the long run. 9-7 is a hell of a lot better than I thought we'd be when we looked terrible at 0-4. As much as everyone is ragging on him, MM and staff do deserve a lot of credit.
  15. There is no way Wire can start on defense but I thought he was pretty good on Special teams.
  16. Congrats! But tell me, how could he sleep in your arms the entire game? You didn't curse, yell, or scream at the TV? You didn't spike him into the ground after Nate's TD either, did you?
  17. As I've always said, its a good thing we, on TBD, do not manage this team. We'd be in the gutter for all eternity. I also trust the staff to make the personnel decisions. I just hope that the QB position is an open competition come mini camps and Training Camp.
  18. It also would have been nice if the Defense could have stopped them in the 4th quarter on that long drive. I think that missed FG really took the wind out of Buffalo's sails.
  19. The reason for the season. Merry Christmas Everyone!
  20. Posts in stupid threads don't count, just like wins against stevestojantty teams.
  21. Sorry if someone beat me to it.
  22. It was best that one died, it was starting to get ugly.
  23. And I was I having so much fun! I was just about to post to it and I got an error. Oh well, back to the Bills suck thread.
  24. Do you think we should petition the NFL to reschedule our game this week with the 49ers to a rematch with Jacksonville? I ask this because we all know that a win a against the lowly 49ers doesn't count for anything, but a win against one of the teams we are fighting for a playoff spot will count in the standings. Then again the Jaguars only have an 8-6 record so that wouldn't count either. Bring on the Eagles! Oh wait, they suck now without TO, so that wouldn't count either. We have the Steelers next week, but we know that won't count because if they beat the Ravens they'll be playing for nothing next week, so they'll rest their starters. The Pats, that's it bring on the Pats! Damn, they just lost to the dolphins so that game won't count anymore... Face it we're screwed because none of our wins count... sarcasm off Sorry just venting...can only beat the teams on our schedule. Yes, this is a LAMP post...
