  1. At least he has a Super Bowl on his resume. I'm sure he could get us to a decent record, who knows, maybe even the playoffs.
  2. My first reaction is "Why Not?" For our next coach, I just hope he's experienced. No more of the "hottest" coordinators.
  3. That was my guess, too.
  4. I think Willis places himself in too high of a category.
  5. I thought the Bills played fairly well today on both sides of the ball. I'm disappointed in the loss but we did play one of thte better teams in the league today. The defense played fairly well today although it would have been nice if they stopped the Panthers again for a field goal. JP had a decent game and I'm pleased with his performance and can see how much more confident he is out there. Although, he's not getting the yardage, his percentage is much better than the first four games this year. Once again penalties in the red zone hurt us, wish we could put more in the endzone obviously. It hurts that we lost a game that we had a chance to win, but in reality, we are not a playoff team even though we are close to New England in the division. We lost to the better team today, but I did see better play by the defense, better play by JP, and better playcalling. I'm not devastated by this loss like many of you are. Those that are most disappointed must actually think we are a playoff team.
  6. I was just happy that on the play that was intercepted he didn't thow it for only 1 yard. At least he tried for the first. Actually, I think JP did pretty well today and if we ever get some improvement from the OL, I think JP will be much more than just passable.
  7. If we work on nothing but the OL and DL in the Draft and Free Agency, I'd be happy. Thats where we're really hurting. If lines play better everyone else will look better, the QB, RB, WR on offense and the LB's and DB's on defense. Then after next season work on replacing guys like Moulds, Fletcher, et. al.
  8. People can blame the front office all they want, but you said it, it all comes down to the players on the field. They do have talent and they should be playing a hell of a lot better than we have seen.
  9. What else would you expect him to say? If you're thinking of some kind of deep information, thats not going to happen.
  10. Unfortunately, MM signed a 5 year contract. I don't see them getting rid of MM after only 2 years. They'd have to pay him for the next 3 also. This year there will be scapegoats such Tom Clements and Jerry Gray. Those are the guys that will be gone after the season.
  11. You can't blame TD on the pick. At the time we needed a tackle and there were two of them out there, MW and McKinnie. From what I hear, McKinnie isn't really lighting the world on fire either. They were coveted by other team's also, so if TD blew it, so did any other team that had them high on their draft charts.
  12. If you read the book of Sith (I actually listened to the Audio Book, which was great), the duels and fights with Dooku and Grievous lasted much longer, as did the opening battle of the movie. There was a lot more action in the book than the movie actually.
  13. I'd trade down and get a couple of extra picks. We need as many good OL and DL as possible.
  14. Thats the first I heard about coke. They had a couple of witnesses on the news here that said they don't believe any sex was involved. By looking under the stall it looked and sounded like one of them was puking in the toilet. The sex rumor was started by the woman that got punched.
  15. Thats my thought, too. Chargers are never going to get rid of Brees. Rivers should end up in Miami if they can swing a trade.
  16. If the vets want to win now, maybe they should start playing to win. I hate statements like this, we are not losing just because of the QB. The veterans on this team need to start worrying about their jobs and not the QB job. If they don't want to be on a team with JP as the starter, pack your bags and get the hell out.
  17. I really doubt thats true, Mularkey would never show his hand this early. With NE losing I'm really up in the air about who should start. We have a very tough schedule remaining compared to the other teams in the division, so I really don't think we'll come out on top.
  18. Well its a start anyway. Anderson has been a terrible liability. I hope this move pans out.
  19. You guys do realize that every NFL team brings in quite a few players each and every week for tryouts, don't you? This means about as much as the other 20 to 30 players the Bills have tried out this year.
  20. Hasn't this been covered already in about 100 other threads?
  21. They're just telling us the company line. Even though I believe and many others here believe the season's history, don't expect them to come out and say it. One thing I liked about that article was he said JP was looking better in practice.
  22. I can't see getting rid of Gray after one bad defensive season. He should be around next year, too. If the problems persist next year, then he better start getting his resume up to date.
  23. A 59 is bad, but it will never get better sitting on the bench of a bad team. He needs to play to improve that.
