Sounds like the defense got back against the O for the practice last night. Seems like the Offense had a good night yesterday and this time the Defense wanted to show them who's in charge.
According to an article in another thread, Marv said the offer is right in the middle of Huff's and Sims'. Doesn't really sound like much his agent has to argue with.
Cutting Posey would be crazy. He doesn't get all the glory (or any glory for that matter), but he's still a solid linebacker and would be great for depth.
Well, then I have some "good" news for you for next year. Vincent will likely not be here next year, maybe not even this year. Also, Clements will probably not be here or if he is, hopefully at a very reduced rate since he gets a new contract.
I'd have to agree with this. Marv and company pretty much forced Mularkey out. They can say they were surprised he quit all they want, but I'm sure the front office was breathing a sigh of relief when he quit. With the bonus of not having to pay MM for the remainder of his contract if he was fired.
I have a flight out of O'Hare in a few hours. I've been travelling here every month since November and never had a flight leave on time, yet. What are the chances I'm out of here on time?
I think its the injuries that did us in. Not the the backups didn't play with everything they had, but just too many at the same position. Anyway it was a great series and a great playoff run for the Sabres. Next year we'll win it with the Blue and Gold.
I'm not gonna forget that game, I was in the second row at that one, cheering our boys on. It was great! I hope they take it to the Hurricanes this series like they did that game.
