I voted 7-9, but I think its going to be 9 or 10. Brady is a great QB, but NE* does have a pretty good team out there. If Cassel can just be a decent manager and not make the big mistake, NE* is still a playoff contender.

This may sound callous, but I don't feel bad about Brady. Season ending injuries happen all the time in football, this time it happened to him, just because he is a name player doesn't make me feel sorry for him. An injury like Kevin Everett had last year that ends your career, yeah, I feel horrible for Everett. But Brady will be back next year. How many players are on the Bills IR this year or IR's around the league.

If Collins was that good still, he'd be starting for some other team. Personally I think he's better than VY but not to the tune of "the team to beat" in the AFC. That title belongs to Pittsburgh now with Brady out.

Cowher just said with the Pats without Brady, Buffalo could be the team to beat in the East! jarthur, you beat me but just a second.

Great effort all around today. It took Edwards a while to get going but he did a great job after hardly playing at all in the preseason.

I was a JP supporter right up until that game. That's the game that told me, JP is not the guy. Even this summer, the articles the past couple of days have been saying he's having a tough time getting motivated. I realize he lost his job and all, but if you're having trouble getting motivated, I don't want you starting.

I saw that, she just lost the gold medal to the 24 time world record holder and he just bitches about it. I was actually happy she lost after that. I have no respect for Olympians and their coaches that lack any kind of sportsmanship.

I think I remember hearing something like this also. I'm hoping that Promo's idea is what ends up happening. 2 home games in TO and 6 in the Buff. If that's what it means to keep the team in Buffalo, I'm all for it.

I can't believe so many of you think Peters is the key to this year. Whether he shows or not is not even the big question for this season. The season hangs in the balance on Trent Edwards' arm, and yes, I know Peters will be a help in that, but not the key to how Trent does. This season rides on if we put the faith in the right QB, not that I think JP's the answer either. Frankly I'm not sold on the QB position yet. Either Trent succeeds this year with or without Peters or he ends up as another failure in a long list of failure's since Kelly. Trent did good last year for a rookie but he has a lot to prove yet. Jason Peters also has a lot to prove, one good year does not make him a Hall of Famer. He needs to do what he did last year on a consistent basis. Which is why he needs to be in camp. Jason Peters may be good for 1 win, but to think some of you think he's worth 6 or 7 wins is amazing. I don't even know if Orlando Pace in his prime was worth that many wins. An established starting QB is the only person on a team that's worth that many wins, not one LT that had one good year. I think all this is moot anyway, I'm sure Peters will be in the starting lineup for the season opener.

The question I have is, if you want more money and decide to sit out, don't you or your agent call the team and tell them the situation and what you're looking for? Nobody has even heard from him. The whole way he is going about this is stupid. I have to ask, what exactly was his Wonderlic score? IIRC, wasn't it pretty low?

I've seen this August 8th date before, but I thought it was the 10th week of the season for the year's service. Where did the August 8th date come from?

I'm not grumbling because he wants more money. The fact is, he has 3 years left on a contract, you don't just not show up when you have that much time left. Show up at camp, sit down with Brandon and tell him you're unhappy with what you're getting and demand a renogotiation befitting a pro bowl left tackle. In the meantime, get your ass out there and show that you are still at that level after off season surgery and deserve that raise.

He has 3 years left on his contract. He can sit out all season, all of next season, and all of the season after that. In fact, if he sits out, that season doesn't count, so he can sit out for however long he wants. Maybe he should pick up the fuggin phone and call Brandon to tell him exactly what he's pissed about first, before making all of these threats.
