  1. If everything goes status quo, I'd say about 5-11.
  2. If we were 11-5, at least we'd know we were getting better and had a good shot next year.
  3. I'll be back, I'll always be back. I guess I enjoy the torture. However, I did make a vow not to buy any new Bills merchandise or tickets until a major change is made, whether it be coaching change, or a major player signing that will make a difference in Free Agency.
  4. What's there to debate, whether to cut JP now or just let him go after the season?
  5. Unless there are major changes in the offseason, I don't plan on putting money down on anything Bills related. No Sunday Ticket, no Bills merchandise, no game tickets, nothing. Of course I'll still be listening to the games (or watching if on TV or found on the internet) and coming here for my required torture. But I'm not spending any more money on the team.
  6. The second that play started and he didn't hand the ball off, I screamed at the TV, "What the hell are you doing!!!". That was the wrong call right from the start when your running game is working as good as it was. If that play worked, I would have been happy they won, but I'd be saying how lucky they were with that play. That was the wrong call, no ifs, ands, or buts. Simply wrong.
  7. Couldn't have said it better myself. If they had to lose, I'm almost glad they lost like this. This should be the end of Jauron. But I will always be a fan of the Buffalo Bills.
  8. "Having trouble sleeping? Turn your TV to CBS every Sunday at 1 pm and enjoy a good, solid three hour nap."
  9. I was wondering the same thing. Its almost like after the winning streak he thought he should go more conventional and prove it can work that way. I don't understand it at all.
  10. I used to be a big JP supporter last year, but just watching him recently, he shows absolutely nothing. Its the same every single game, one or two long passes, a whole lot of misses, several sacks and at least two fumbles off those sacks. Believe it or not, we need Edwards back there. He gives us the best chance to win. He did pretty damn good the first part of the season and once he gets his confidence back (probably the offseason) he should be fine. It doesn't look good for this year, but give him all the palying time we possibly can.
  11. He should come off the wall, but I wouldn't announce in a press conference or even a press release. Just one day take it off the wall, next day people come in and the name is gone. No need to make a big deal out of it.
  12. When people around the league talk about the Lions and Bengals, they include Buffalo in there as well.
  13. Its actually kind of funny hearing the phrases 'Bills Offense' and Running up the score' in the same sentence.
  14. No reason to flame away, you're absolutely right. Next year's schedule will be brutal compared to this year's and if they can't beat some of these teams now, next year is not going to be fun to watch.
  15. Losing the 3 in games in the division hurt our chances way too much. Still, I don't think our defense is capable of stopping NY, NE*, Miami, and Denver. I think we beat San Fran and win maybe one of the other 4 games. You can't get 5 turnovers and still give up 31 points.
  16. I'm still very worried about the defense when we play better teams. 5 turnovers, but we still give up 31 points...to the Chiefs? Not good!!
  17. He did a great job today, but yes, on Monday, he played scared.
  18. I guess I'm a little harder on the defense than most people around here are. Too many people look at the points allowed only. While that is a huge stat, I like to see them get off the field faster. Too many oppoenent drives last way too long. They did better against the Browns, but still not enough pressure and absolutely no turnovers. They need to give the offense better field position (not that the offense would do anything with it). When Moorman punts the ball down to the 5 yard line sometimes, the idea is to hold them there, not let them run down the field for 8 minutes even if you only give up a field goal, that's not good enough. I want to see an attacking defense that gets to the QB and is not overpowered on the line of scrimmage. Let them get some three and outs or at least only give up one first down then a punt, before I see them as anything special. I'm not putting the blame on the defense for the losses, obviously the offense is completely inept, but they are not blameless.
  19. Its not important where they're ranked, 23 by the way, but he sums up the last drive perfectly. Dr Z's Power Rankings Buffalo Bills (5-5) They chose to make camp on the 29-yard line, which meant the winning kick would have to be 47 yards, into a swirling wind. The kick was wide right. The Bills lost to the Browns by two points. They could have moved the ball closer, if they hadn't run three times into a mob. There was time. A dink pass or two by Trent Edwards and the chances of winning would go up immeasurably. Choosing to make 47 yards their kick of choice was just nuts. Except...except...maybe their confidence in Edwards was so abysmally low, after the miserable game he'd had, that they didn't trust him to throw even one safe short pass without the danger of mishap. He had spent practically the whole fourth quarter frozen in the pocket, even with time, unable to pull the trigger, finally dumping one off to Marshawn Lynch time and again and praying that he make something happen. But then on the critical final drive, guess what? He drilled one down the seam to tight end Robert Royal, zzzzip, 22 yards. Maybe now the kid had his confidence back, maybe now they were in business. For what? Five yards on three runs and wide right. It's just so abysmally sad when they are not given a chance to win.
  20. I may be interested to see how they do the year they leave, only as a curiosity, but I could never cheer for them that year or any year after. In fact if they won the Superbowl at some point after the move, I'd be royally pissed.
  21. Did Johnson have that great of a game yesterday that there's talk of him being a steal in the draft? If so, I didn't see it. He only had a couple of catches and one drop that was right in the numbers. I wouldn't call that a spectacular game that he should be anointed a steal yet.
