  1. I noticed this also, and that's the first thing I thought of when the Raiders scored, "same thing that happened with Watson, that's a TD." Then when they said incomplete, I was shocked. However, at the time I was glad they called Watson's a TD, it gave the Bills at least some time on the clock. The way the defense was playing, you just knew New England* was going to score the go ahead TD and I didn't want it to be with only a few seconds left.
  2. The No Huddle is not what hurt TOP, I believe Dan said above, the inability of the defense to stop 3rd downs was the major factor in the disparity of TOP.
  3. At no time did actually think they were going to win. When they got up by 11, I hoped they would win, but I never actually believed it and wouldn't have until the clock read all zeros with Buffalo in the lead. When McKelvin fumbled, I just shook my head and said "It figures."
  4. I just hope they go out and get an LB in free agency, but we know that won't happen.
  5. One thing I noticed or should say I didn't notice, did the Bills ever put Evans or Owens in motion? I think every play they just started from where they lined up.
  6. Moss and Welker were not double covered the entire game. Edwards took advantage of the double coverage on Evans and TO by going to the TE's and screens to Jackson. Also, Brady threw like 50 times, of course they're going to catch that many balls.
  7. That's exactly what Owens does for us, the opponent cannot key on the running game now because the Bills have two threats at WR now. If they do what the Pats* did yesterday it opens up the screens and short passing game. If they play up to the line and key on the RB's, and short passes, Evans and/or Owens beats them deep. This is just why the Bills need TO.
  8. Well that's the thing, New England* didn't play up to their level, but the Bills were far from perfect also.
  9. The dropped passes and penalties killed a few drives, that alone would have given us better time of possession. Stop the dumb mistakes and the offense would have been rolling. I was proud of the way they played last night.
  10. No, the defense called one early in the fourth to give us 2. The Pats* called that one after the kickoff.
  11. This game was there for the taking last night, but I can honestly say, I never at any point thought they would win it, at least I would never let my mind believe they would. When Jackson went in for the TD and we were up by 11, I hoped we would win it, but I never thought we would. That bend but don't break defense that Fewell loves so much killed us again because they broke at the wrong time. They did a great job last night and it makes me look forward to a pretty good season, I hope. Instead of the disastrous year I thought we would have, maybe we'll end up about 7-9
  12. He could still have great character, just not very smart.
  13. Maybe Nixon should be the Head Coach, he seems to have a bit of a plan to beat New England.
  14. Jauron's pre-game speech, "Go out there... and see how well you do."
  15. As much as I love these previews, Lori, they do bring back a lot of bad memories. Great job as usual!
  16. Didn't see it posted yet, but ESPN is reporting Urlacher is having surgery and is out for the season.
  17. I think the offensive line will struggle this year, but in years to come if they stay together, they'll be one of our stronger units in a long, long time.
  18. Teams are seriously going to consider not taking a chance on any player represented by Parker.
  19. I'm not reading the entire thread, did she?
  20. Great, lets play our second and third stringers then.
  21. I don't understand everyone saying this now. Was Walker that good that he was going to stop Edwards from getting crushed? NO. Walker absolutely sucked in the preseason, Bell outplayed him by a long shot and now all of a sudden TE is going to get killed? If anything this may save Edwards.
