  1. Buffalo leads the league in interceptions, they get a couple more tonight on Sanchez. Buffalo 20 Jets17
  2. Here's a Ross Tucker article on CNNSI. He talks about how and why players play with injuries and what their teamates may think of them. Tucker Article Here's the part where it sounds exactly like the Mike Williams saga in Buffalo. If this is about Williams, apparently his line mates felt exactly the same way about him as the fans did. "One year in the NFL I started on an offensive line in which three guys, including myself, had surgery after the season for one thing or another. One of the two who didn't have surgery had missed parts of several games with a torn oblique yet still tried to play through the injury. The fifth member of the line, however, refused to play through a couple of minor injuries on multiple occasions. As a result he never really fit in with the rest of the group and was somewhat ostracized. The message was loud and clear as far as we were concerned: he could not be trusted to do the things the rest of us were willing to do for each other. And yes, as far as offensive lines go, I do believe that one bad apple can spoil the bunch." Sorry if this has been posted already.
  3. ****!!! You mean we didn't sign an All Pro free agent in the middle of the season, even though he hasn't played in over a year coming off an achilles injury? Damn this front office sucks!!
  4. Who cares where we draft. There are good players available throughout the first round not just the top five. It all depends on your staff to find the talent at your draft position. The only thing to do now is WIN.
  5. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Spielmans and all of you that have been effected by this terrible disease. I lost my mother back in '02 to breast cancer and there's not a day that goes by where I don't think about her.
  6. The ball has not been moving in this offense in years. Neither of these 2 qb's is going to start next year for us, so who the hell cares which qb starts this week. The offense is terrible with either of them.
  7. No matter what coach they bring in, everyone is going to be able to poke holes into it. Name one coach out there that we can't say something negative about.
  8. We'll have to put him on IR.
  9. You do realize that no matter who we get, he will not have a winning record his final couple of seasons or they would still be employed. This is, of course, if we go with an established head coach in the NFL.
  10. There's nothing in there blasting Jauron, in fact its the usual DJ was a great guy and a great coach to play for.
  11. You knew it was going to happen eventually. Personally, I think it was more Schoebel's remarks.
  12. There is a lot more Ralph needs to do yet before he is forgiven. This was just one small step.
  13. I actually think Schoebel's comments are what got Jauron fired.
  14. As I said in the firing thread this really does nothing for this year. This team sucks and it will continue to suck until the new permanent coach is brought in during the offseason and hopefully a new front office to go with it.
  15. I really don't see Gruden coaching next year, now that he just signed the extension with ESPN. He'll be the top choice in 2011. Unfortunately, at least in my view, this means that he won't be coming to Buffalo. I was hoping we had a chance at Gruden.
  16. In the short term, this really means nothing, as there is a lot more wrong with this team than just the Head Coach. But, at least its the sign of change coming. We can only hope now that this is a well thought out process and the best is yet to come. <cross fingers>
  17. Oh Happy Day!!!! I think Schoebel's words hit home.
  18. Are you saying you want April back, please. This entire staff needs to go. When a new coach is hired at the end of the year he will bring in his own guys not what we have.
  19. fargin' bastige
  20. I'm not convinced that Edwards is done yet, however with this coaching staff he is. I'd like to see him with a different coaching staff and OLine. Maybe compete for the starting job next year with a new staff.
  21. No way is Hardy ready to start. He hasn't done anything to even make anyone think he could start. It would probably be Reed with Johnson as the 3rd.
  22. Very well said, Beerball. I can be a die hard fan and still see this team sucks. I'll be rooting for them Sunday, but come 4:15 pm I'm sure I'll be pissed.
  23. Who the hell keeps voting for him? I don't think I've seen any supporters of his here on TBD. It must be an inside job of the Bills, getting all of their employees to vote for him.
  24. If you take the entire team into account, I'd go with Flutie even though I couldn't stand his attitude. This OLine would get anyone killed and you need someone to move around back there. I don't think even Kelly would do anything behind this line. Although, I would love to see Kelly screaming at the OLine. He's the only QB we had that made everyone accountable for what they did on the field.
