I want to know why everyone thinks Fitz can't be our QB for the next 5 or so years. He's having a season that is among the best ever for a Bills QB, but hardly anyone wants him for our future, only to groom the new guy. I just don't know what more anyone could ask for out of a QB that some rookie is going to be better.

The only way to beat Brady is with pressure, constant pressure. If we can somehow keep the Pats* to 24 points or less, we have a shot at winning this game. Our offense, (I can't believe I'm saying this), is better than their defense. So if they can put the pressure on Brady and throw a pick or two and make him a bit skittish, the Bills have a shot at this thing.

I agree completely with this, we're not going to beat NE, so just go out there and try to make Brady's life as miserable as possible so we can get in his head for next year.

I always love reading your weekly opinions Rich. One thing though, if you watch any other game in the NFL, nearly every QB has the "Terrible Trio" every week. It's nearly impossible to be accruate with every single throw. This includes Brady and Manning too, actually, its been all too often with Manning this year.

Ask yourself this question. Would you rather have last year's team or this year's team? Personally, I'll take the 2010 Buffalo Bills over any of the previous 6 or 7 years teams, maybe even longer than that.

When you're a starting QB in the NFL for 20 years, you're probably going to have quite a few interceptions.

Maybe its just me, but I always thought throwing games was unethical, for whatever reason.

Mitchell's best career game was with the Giants against the Bills. He never really did anything here.

This was my exact reaction. I just chuckled and said "it figures...". But I loved the play call and glad we were playing to win.

The Bills are 2-9, although we've been playing better lately, there are no games that they "should" win. Every game they are going to have to play their best to win, every team out there is very capable of beating the us. The Vikings have a new coach and that usually means the team plays inspired ball. It's going to be very tough, especially on the road.

Who the hell cares if Edwards asked Phillips for help, as long as its freaking working, that's fine with me.

Don't really see your point. It sounds like he's giving Buffalo props but says the Pittsburgh Defense came up big when they needed to. Some could argue that Pittsburgh offense took the next three hours off, due to Buffalo's defense.

Hate to break this to you, but Marv was really never a "Great" head coach. He had very talented players and delegated responsiblities like no one I've seen in football do before. He was very good at getting very egotistical players to play as a team and believe in each other. That was his major talent as head coach. Kelly and Marchibroda pretty much ran the offense and Corey the defense. As far as GM goes, give Nix a chance, he just started. Whether you believe in Chan as a head coach or not, he is getting this team to play well together. The difference from the beginning of the season to now is night and day. I believe Chan is a major factor in Fitz playing so well.

That was quick. It went from unsubstantiated rumor to signed letter of intent in only a couple of days.

I said one, but if we beat Minnesota, New England*, and/or NY we may get two or even more if we beat all three.

As others have said, Evans ist still the number one, he draws double coverage and the opposing team's best corner. This has opened things up for Johnson. Soon teams will be aware of Johnson (Pittsburgh next week)and that will open things up for Evans again. Evans will be productive in the second half of the season.

There's a lot of hate in this thread on the one man who is doing everything he can to try and keep the Bills in Buffalo.

Someone needs to show the current Bills team this video so they can see how great it is in Buffalo with a team that wins.

Cowboys, Falcons, Lions, and Browns are the only decent ones and that's only because they are the least different from what they have now.
