  1. Bills - 27 Giants - 23 Bills once again stop a late drive by Eli the Giants.
  2. Seriously don't see how the NFL can approve Gillet, after all his sports failures and/or bankruptcies.
  3. Didn't the Eagles have a bad loss before they played us? They lost in the last seconds to the niners.
  4. They are the least important so far as playoffs, but with 4 in the next 5, that could kill our season if we don't take at least 2 of the NFC games. Imagine the emotional letdown if we come out of this stretch only 1-4 or even 0-5.
  5. Freddy was probably not even in the discussion, this was between Fitz and Brady. Way to go Fitz!!
  6. As always Rich, great analysis!
  7. We're only 3-0 there are 13 games left. The Pats* are still the favorites to win the division. If you were forced to put all your money down right now on who wins the AFC East, who are you going to pick? New England is the favorite until someone knocks them down, we'll find out at the end of the year if its the Bills, Jets or they're still the top team in the division.
  8. Damn, now I have to change my prediction for this week to a Cinci win. Seriously, awesome cover!
  9. Should be a great game. Raiders should just use a heavy dose of McFadden. Bludgeon the Pats* defense and keep Brady off the field.
  10. Bills 24 Bengals 17
  11. I bet Ryan picked him back up to pick his brain, he may actually have to worry about the Bills now.
  12. Holy ****!! Are we now getting upset with the coach of our upcoming opponent because he says his team is going to win!? What the hell is he supposed to say? "Buffalo is too good, we're forfeiting."
  13. Welcome to the board and never apologize for your opinion, your opinion is just as important as anybody else's on this board. Power rankings have always been a hot topic on here and always will be. With the Power Rankings, no one shares the same opinion so it sparks a lot of debate. The good thing is, the Bills are relevant again. Its better than last year when we were arguing that Buffalo shouldn't be 32nd.
  14. You're absolutely right, not many expect to win this week, but they can't lose next week.
  15. I meant it as two different years, but I can see how you read it as talking about the same year. I should have worded it better, but you get the gist.
  16. This new front office has yet to let a good player walk. You can't compare past front offices with this one yet. At this time, it seems Nix and company are doing well. In negotiations with Fitz and Johnson, you just don't give them what they want, that's why its called negotiating. Although, we all read that Jackson has been snubbed so far, do you really believe that won't get done at some point?
  17. Way too early for this thread. Remember last time we beat the Pats* and started 2-0, we were no. 1 in the Power Rankings, people were thinking of us in the Superbowl again. Things changed quickly that year. Started 4-1 and gave Jauron a new contract, all downhill from there. I love the way they have started, but I'm waiting until half way through the season (or maybe just beating the Patriots*) before I say anyone, including myself was wrong.
  18. Everyone is predicting such a high scoring affair, this^ score or something like it wouldn't surprise me. Still I'll predict high scoring: Pats* 37 Bills 27
  19. Well, considering the last two games were against last year's top running teams, Merriman was probably used a lot different than he will be used Sunday. Last two games they were geared to stop the run, this week, they'll need to do everything they can to stop the pass. In essence, they have been holding Merriman back. So your theory isn't far off, just the reason is different.
  20. I've always liked King and don't understand why so many have it in for him. Can you blame him or any other national reporter for being down on the Bills the last 15 years? They can't say anything nice about a team when its obvious there isn't anything nice to say. He's a bit of a Pats* homer, but guess what, he lives there. You can't be impartial all the time. A lot of people don't like his MMQB column because he talks about things other than football, well he tells you what's coming up, you don't want to read about his travel, don't. His coffee? don't, his non-football related items? It says right there "my non-football thoughts of the week", don't read it, guess what, you just finished the column early. He's one columnist that really tells it like it is.
  21. I love the two wins as much as anyone, but we can't get carried away, this is far from an elite team. We will lose several games this year, but the thing I love the most yesterday, was we were down 21-3 and I never felt we were out of it. That's a feeling I haven't felt in a long, long time. If we can go toe to toe with the Pats*, I'll be happy. If we actually beat them, I'll be very excited. A horrible, ugly loss and they are going to have to show was how they bounce back.
  22. That's the way to do it, he can't be wrong that way.
  23. It's going to be a tough one, Bills will have trouble stopping the run, but they still come out with the win. Bills 23 Raiders 20
