I was so impressed with Tuel, even though he was going against backups, I actually think Kolb may have been hurt. If they only go with two QB's, not sure if they would do what Washington did and go with two rookies, but if Tuel and EJ just continue to get better, why keep Kolb. Helped: Other than Tuel helping himself, would be McKelvin. As mentioned earlier Luck and Hasselbeck didn't have too many problems moving the ball.

Think I read it would be a penalty only if done towards an opposing player.

I think I'd like to see his defense play a few games before predictions are made that he's leaving. Last time we thought the defense was going to be all that, they sucked.

I'm all for Denver, always have been a big Manning fan. Would love to see him do it after all those neck surgeries.

Rivers would be a major upgrade over Fitz. Look what's holding our offense back, the erratic QB play and a viable no. 2 at WR. We have a good offensive line for once, our running backs are incredible, and the TE position is pretty solid in Chandler. Now look at the Chargers, they basically have nothing on offense except Rivers and because of that Rivers himself has declined because he has to try and do it all himself. Put PR on this team and that makes the Bills instantly better on the offensive side of the ball. Do that and continue to work on the defense and who knows, this team might actually start winning with consistency. Of course, all of this means nothing because Sad Diego will not let Rivers go.

No concerns about Miami, but a hell of a lot of concerns about Buffalo.

Very good post Dan. Right on the money. I'm not a huge Fitz fan, but the defense is putting him and the offense in a position to score almost every time they get the ball. Therefore, Fitz is forced to throw the ball more often and that also makes him take greater risks with the ball.

Unfortunately he's right. Until we start beating them with more consistency or even staying in the game with them, we will continue to be a joke to the Patriots*.

As long as Ralph is the owner, nothing will change. We aren't going to get a big name coach and/or GM. No one will want to come here with ownership a big question mark, they know whenever ownership changes the GM and Coach are usually sent packing. We are stuck with this for the foreseeable future.

You seriously think Buffalo will score more than 24 on Houston and not only that, but also hold them to less than 25 after they let Tennessee post 35 on them? Damn, I like your optimism but some things just aren't possible in the physical world.

There is only one to blame in this game and that's Wannstedt. Bills had a 14 point lead offense was doing okay, defense was stopping Brady pretty consistently. Patriots came out and made their adjustments, but Wanny had no clue or was too stubborn with his defensive game plan to make any adjustments.

Let's be serious, other than the timing is anyone really shocked by this? Moorman has been a shell of his old self for the past 4 or 5 seasons now. He's basically been getting a paycheck based on reputation. It's always hard to see a fan favorite go, but this isn't totally surprising, only the timing is a surprise. As far as wasting the money on his contract, well...it ain't my money. I'll never understand why so many people get upset over how much we spend on a guy, even in this era of the cap.

This is exactly how I feel. Fitz is what he is, he will throw his share of INT's, what has me worried is how the Sanchez led Jets, moved the ball right through the defense like they were a pop warner team. Sure Fitz threw 3 INT's, but the defense didn't even come close to stopping them on the two that they could have. The so-called new and improved defense is what has me worried the most.

The Johnson injury concerns me big time. This was supposed to be gone now and its flaring up again. We are already extremely week at the WR position.

Couldn't agree more. The Wildcat is what, 6 or 7 plays a game? Most teams figured that out already, its a gimmick and its time is over.

Both teams have looked pretty bad on offense in the preseason and I think that leads to a sloppy first game. Jets win 13-10. Then again, I've never been very good at this prediction stuff.

According to paint, every team is only as good as their record last year and potential and off season moves have nothing to do with it. So by his logic, every team will have the same record as last year and will beat/lose to the same teams this year as they did the previous year. So put your money on another NY/NE Superbowl.
