  1. This coaching staff tends to overthink all the time. Should have just gone with McCoy.
  2. Have to admit, I defended EJ for quite awhile, but this is it. He's obviously not an NFL qb.
  3. Normally I predict close scores, but something tells me this is going to be a lot like last week. Bills 34 phins 18
  4. My keys are: On Defense - Obviously, stopping Gronk. Also limit the effectiveness on the quick pass out to the flat they always use. On Offense - McCoy and the running game (OL) have to step it up and dominate that side of the ball.
  5. Unfortunately, I believe Belicheck will have something in store for Taylor to make things difficult. Bills 13 Pats* 26 I really hope I'm wrong.
  6. A nice read from Yahoo, don't quite believe it, but it was nice to read something positive. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/super-bowl-sleeper-pick-bills-043559686.html
  7. Very well put. Brady never deserved 4 games for this even if he did it. Goodell took this way too far and its going to bite him in the ass.
  8. Agree with this, is he going to step in whenever a fan favorite may be let go? What happens when Kyle Williams gets long in the tooth? We're just going to have a bunch of watched up players who were good for Buffalo over time. Pegula needs to stay out of personnel decisions.
  9. As much as I love FJ, he's a 34 year old running back, has admittedly lost a step, and is getting injured more often. You can't keep someone like that around, if you can get better. With McCoy here now, he would rarely see the field. Even Freddie can't stiff arm Father Time. Its time to move on.
  10. The few things I read said it was Marrone that cancelled.
  11. He punted again.
  12. Ouch, it hurts because its probably true.
  13. I don't think it was the place to ask about Marrone, but I am surprised no one followed up on the Polian "Blown out of proportion" comment.
  14. Like how Ryan kept bringing up the Kelly and Thomas era. He knows that was the last time this team was any good and wants to get back to that level of dominance and knows what they mean to the community.
  15. I thought it was a good question and good answer from Rex. That's all we have been hearing since he was let go that the Falcons and 49ers wanted him. Now the question from Roth just now was stupid. He didn't gloss over Manuel, he told everyone what he thought of the QB position.
  16. and there goes the feed
  17. Guarantee #1 is making the playoffs.
  18. I'm sure a lot of people on this board would hate that too.
  19. Hmmm...maybe we have a great defense because of the players? No, can't be, its the coach, everyone says so.
  20. I'd go like this: 1 O-Line 2 QB 3 RB 4 TE 5 CB I just think if we're going to power running game, we need to upgrade the O-line first, think EJ (or a retread) might be able to handle it for this year until we get someone better in here at QB. Again, if we're going with a power game, I'm not so thrilled with our RB's especially with Freddy getting older.
  21. Disagree there, I think Wood had an off year because of the poor play at Guard.
  22. So many people are complaining about Rex Ryan and losing Schwartz, well there is only one person to blame for this…Doug Marrone. Doug Marrone quitting is the reason we’re losing Schwartz. Doug Marrone thought it would be best to sit on his ass at home and collect his 4 million. That’s how you treat your team/fans after preaching “Finish the Job” to them all year? I don’t think there were any better options or sure things out there than Rex Ryan. He wasn’t my first choice, but he’s no worse than any of the other dozen they brought in and he’s possibly the best of the lot. Ryan has had good defenses his entire career when he’s had the personnel, give him a chance.
  23. Murphy has been saying all morning that the ball is in Schwartz' court. He's been asked to stay and its up to him if he wants to or not. Obviously, if he gets a head coaching opportunity, he is gone, but if not, hopefully he stays.
  24. Thanks Promo! Don't know what everyone expects Whaley to say when EJ is the only !@#$ing QB on the roster. Reading back about EJ over the course of the year since his benching, why wouldn't he talk "glowingly" about him? He's been a great and supportive teammate, by all accounts he has been studying hard and learning how to lead from Orton. I would be going into those interviews saying that to the candidates and also, I think he was handcuffed by Marrone and forced to play not to make mistakes instead of playing freely.
