  1. Like that they got it done this early.
  2. The pressure will be on Wentz now. First, he needs to stay healthy, then he really needs to get them to the playoffs next year after what Foles has done. If they don't make the playoffs or Wentz is out for any period of time, the Philly press is going to be relentless on if they kept the right QB.
  3. Live in Raleigh, so Panthers closest team. It seems I go to a game a year, as tix just seem to fall in my lap for some reason (friend going has an extra ticket, etc.). Also on TV all the time so I do watch and kind of root for them, but in no way is it depressing when they lose like the Bills. For some strange reason and I'm not sure why, I've been rooting for the Giants more than the Panthers recently (and again, nowhere close to Bills passion).
  4. Glad they got this done for the backup QB. Those who don't like it...he's the backup QB, 90% of the time if your backup is forced to start, you are not expected to win anyway. It's not like we need him to compete with Allen for the starting position. There's not a Nick Foles available for every team.
  5. All you have to do is look at the Sabres. That team has been in the dumps for years, they get a taste of winning and you can see how much fun they are having out there. There is only one thing to do and that is keep playing hard and get as many wins as you can. Then next year you go out and do the same damn thing. Just because you pick in the top ten doesn't mean the player is going to be an all pro. There is just as much chance of a player becoming great in the 10-20 draft positions. They need to develop a winning culture just as the Sabres have.
  6. I was at Panthers game Sunday and they looked unstoppable, last night was a huge surprise.
  7. You guys do realize this season is nothing more than an extended preseason, don't you? I watch these games just to see how each player is doing and who might be on the team next year. I don't listen to pressers or any post game crap.
  8. Bills 20 Colts 14 All about the D, they put the Bills in position to score and hold Luck to 2 TD passes.
  9. Bills 16 Texans 20 Although I would not be surprised if the Bills pulled this one out.
  10. I don't think it will really make any difference. Allen isn't ready and Peterman is terrible. The rest of the offense appears even worse.
  11. Like the rule. You should never lead with the head. The only problem will be enforcement of it.
  12. It's practice man. Watched the Carolina feed and even their announcers said, it's preseason might as well go for it, see what the young guys can do.
  13. I thought for the most part they looked pretty good last night. Biggest disappointments for me were the second half defense and second half OL. I see several people not pleased with Allen's performance, maybe it's just me, but I thought he did pretty well for what he had to work with. Definitely better than I thought he would do in his debut performance. If I didn't watch the game and only looked at his stat line this morning I would have been disappointed, but I saw a lot of good things in him last night. I'm not sure how much time he's going to get with the firsts, if any, in the preseason, but it sure would be nice to see what he could do with them.
  14. Agree with Kirby. After so many months of looking forward to the season, I can definitely say, I would go into each game in the future with a lot less excitement.
  15. Going to be a close one, Buffalo pulls it out. Bills 17 Ravens 16
  16. The Bills really need this one with the Pats* coming up next, right there is a loss in NE. After next week Buffalo is either 5-5 or 4-6 and out of the playoffs. This all comes down to the Bills D not being anywhere near as good as advertised. Jets 30 Bills 23
  17. This coaching staff tends to overthink all the time. Should have just gone with McCoy.
  18. Have to admit, I defended EJ for quite awhile, but this is it. He's obviously not an NFL qb.
  19. Normally I predict close scores, but something tells me this is going to be a lot like last week. Bills 34 phins 18
  20. My keys are: On Defense - Obviously, stopping Gronk. Also limit the effectiveness on the quick pass out to the flat they always use. On Offense - McCoy and the running game (OL) have to step it up and dominate that side of the ball.
