I don't buy this excuse. I would rather just keep 7 DBs instead of keeping Toohill as the 10th DL. Hardy >>>>>>>> Toohill. The numbers game is meaningless when faced with that simple fact.

I mean they could have just IR'd him if they didn't want to keep him on the initial roster. Ah but no we had to use that spot on our RB4.

This is the capstone on a very perplexing offseason IMO.

Everyone is caught up on Toohill, my guess is he won't even be on the team 24 hours from now.

I think I would have kept Davidson over Morris and Johnathan over Toohill. I think Morris is at his peak and not much there. I didn’t see Toohill do anything this camp.

Davidson and Morris are different skill sets. If anything, I was hearing they would have kept McKitty over Davidson.

There is almost zero chance Hardy doesn’t get claimed.  This was a mistake.

If he really is injured though, not sure how many teams would be willing to waste a roster spot on him

I heard Justin Shorters name when he was drafted and then seemingly never again. Was he hurt this whole time?

    No, just sucks

  5. Jets probably should be favorites. They have had a great defense, Oline has been improved-not sure how much. Really all depends on Rodgers, probably just has to be average for them to win 10 games (they won 7 last year). If he is above average or better, they could win 11 maybe even 12 games.

Bills have some questions at WR and Defensive backfield. If WR room proves decent, Bills can once again win the division. Really is a tossup.

Is there a whole lot of difference between him and Davis.

Guess we'll find out.  Franklin had better not light things up somewhere.  He's a lot closer to what we needed with a notably greater upside.

Oh well, they're the "experts."  LOL

Yeah, there's a difference...he can catch the ball.

Honestly, I know this will be unpopular but I would consider having him here as QB3 and see if the improvement in coaching and talent around him can help rebuild him. And I think being in the room with Josh would give him a different approach. Maybe turns into a good backup.

I wouldn't mind him as even primary backup. How many 2nd QB's are better that are available? At this point it's more mental for him than anything. Get him out of NYC and a more stable franchise, I think he can be a decent backup.

They are concentration drops though. His hands are pretty good. The number of time Josh checked down to him this year and he held the ball despite getting levelled as he caught it was considerable. It is just concentration especially in the redzone.

I believe all of his drops were when he had running room, not when he was about to get hit. It seems like he's looking where to go before he pulls in the ball. Agree, concentration issue.
