So we draft Newton or Gabbert with the #3 pick, and sit him the 1st year as they adjust to the NFL. Our 1st round pick now provides no impact for 2011. We probably blow the 2nd round pick again, and we're likely looking at the top draft pick in 2012. And there awaits Andrew Luck who we could not pass on as our QB of the future and who would likely start day one. What then of Newton or Gabbert? They would turn into yet another #1 draft pick with less than 1st round impact. Just thinking out loud here......

Some of it is playing twice against the Patriots and Jets with their records.

I'd do it and not look back. We have so many needs and those picks could accelerate our rebuilding. It's not like we are gonna be competing for the AFC crown in the next couple of years. And it usually takes us 4 top picks to get one right!

Whew, our home pre-season games are the last two. Wouldn't want to miss out on having to pay for those if the season was shortened by the 1st two pre-season weeks.

Good Job today O-Line. Our QB was not under constant pressure and actually had some time to scan his receivers downfield. You opened running lanes and picked up several blitzes as well. I hope you found something over the past two weeks that we can look forward to seeing again. And this was a top defensive unit you did it against. Lots of posts today about the officiating and other plays but today I thought you guys were the real story.

Wrong Call! It took me a few replays to see it but our defender had 1 foot down AND his elbow hit just inside the end line. Shoulda been int and touchback.

Yup...We make this same trip 3-4 times a year from Charlottesville and this is the way to go. The trip is always longer after the game if ther Bills lose but that won't be the case this game.

You can now purchase a cell phone app that makes the same sound as the vuvuzela. So where they banned them you just pull out your cell phone. Two guys made 2 million bucks with this invention the 1st week it was available. I'm quite sure artificial noisemakers are prohibbited in all NFL stadiums. Imagine trying to call an audible with this noise in the background. Yikes....

We still have no passing attack anyone is afraid of...more so this year without T.O......it's gonna be tough to run or have successful swing passes against 8 in the box.
