  1. Nicely put!!
  2. One of the worst moments in Buffalo Sports History was when Polian was fired. That being said Whaley should get the job when Nix retires. If Polian wants to come back in some capacity where he is involved with scouting but he reports to Whaley (highly unlikely though), I would be okay with that.
  3. Gave me nightmares for months.
  4. Freddie, Mario, Dareus. KW and Stevie as alternates.
  5. I think you are right. Nix stated that a backup guard who can also play center has a better chance to make the team.
  6. Brandon was on WGR about a month ago mentioning that since they have tapped out both the Rochester and Buffalo Markets for luxury suites, that Toronto Businesses are the next area they would like to reach out to. Is is possible that in order for a new owner to be approved that the NFL could stipulate that two regular season home games are played in Toronto in order to increase the Bills Total Yearly Revenue?
  7. Granted the Steelers improved their line dramatically in the draft, but doesn't the Bills allowing the fewest sacks this past year warrant them to be in front of PIT in rankings?
  8. You mean this doesn't count?
  9. Wilson told him personally about the Wall of Fame, initially when he got the call from Scott Berchold to call Ralph at home he though there was something wrong with Mr. Wilson. His kids say that Buffalo is their hometown. Good relationship between him and Wilson, he owns Wilson a debt of gratitude for giving him the opportunity in NFL. Had a chance to trade Jim Kelly's rights for a significant package including a young QB who was not as good as Kelly, Wilson thought about it for 15 seconds and decided to sign Kelly. Two biggest signings were Marv and Jim Kelly. Likes the direction the Bills are heading in now. They are young. But did state it took two years after signing Kelly to make the playoffs. Stated as long as NE has Brady they are a force. The question is how much they improved their pass rush. Doesn't wonder what would have happen if he had stayed in Buffalo. Stated he needed to look forward.
  10. If the Bills can get 10-12 snaps a game from him and 6-8 sacks this will be a success. I see him as a DE/pass rush specialist.
  11. Section N, Row 11, Seats 3 and 4 with my Dad. Stayed the whole game.
  12. A red zone threat might be the weapon this offense needs.
  13. I think you are right.
  14. I thought that Nix and Gailey preferred to have a developmental QB on the roster in TC. We will have to see who else they may bring in.
  15. Great find. It's nice to get some love from the national press. After this offseason it is becoming commonplace.
  16. I thought it would have been Tanney
  17. This Peter King mentioned these four teams as well, but he did not see any of them moving
  18. I would settle for Pegula buying the team.
  19. I think a lot depends on how many dedicated special team players make the team. I can see Potter being switched for McIntyre if Brooks and Bradham are as good as advertised.
  20. AKA Patriots love fest.
  21. This looks good. I think final cut comes down between Spencer, Troup and Batten
  22. It sounds like the Bills and Erie County are doing their due diligence with the negotiations. I think that as long as the negotiations are kept private some details of the succession plan will be released to State and County Officials to faciliate the State and County signing off on a new long term deal. Not a big fan of corporate welfare, especially with sports teams, but unfortunately it is becoming a necessary evil to keep sports franchises locally.
  23. John I should have done a better job explaining my point. Of course Poloncarz and Cuomo have no absolute control over what the Bills ultimately do. I do believe that both will do everything within reason to keep the Bills here. If they do leave it would give political fodder to their respective opponents in next election cycles. Cuomo did win the governor's mansion without WNY in 2010, but I do not think he would want to tempt fate twice. Poloncarz would have an extremely difficult time winning again if the Bills left. On a side note Bob Mc Carthy TBN political reporter mentioned that Cuomo was in for a fundraiser in Buffalo last week, that was closed to reporters. Sources did indicate that Cuomo was escorted into the fundraiser by Poloncarz and Russ Brandon.
