  1. He was supposed to be but alas wasn't.
  2. If they do that and can get him for one first rounder, go for it.
  3. Would he instantly upgrade the team, absolutely. Would the Bills be a Superbowl Contender, even more so then the Pats. The problem is the Bills were reportedly 9.5 million under the cap before any draft pick signed. So figure the Bills have about 4-5 million left under the cap. Brees would probably demand somewhere between 20-22 million per year. Even after cutting Fitz they would still need an additional 10 to 12 million a year. So who else would be released Stevie, Jackson, Mario or Anderson? If the price was right and if Brees's New Contract would not reek havoc on the Bills Salary Cap, I would make the trade in a heartbeat. His character, desire to win and his pregame huddle chants are incredible. Unfortunately based on the overall costs between draft picks and salary cap, I would have to say no to trading for him. P.S. Yes I want the Bills to win.
  4. Doesn't it make sense for agents to get a maximum contract so they get a larger commission?
  5. It would probably cost at least two first rounders and that is a high price to pay to a player with possibly five or six years left in the league.
  6. This will help his case.
  7. Clever e ball, very clever.
  8. Good luck with that. How soon before James Harrison joins as a co plantiff?
  9. I having a feeling he will be a CFL Superstar.
  10. Would he even wait six months?
  11. And a permanent ban from the NFL.
  12. Its the end of the world as we know it!!
  13. Cool when the Seahawks cut him in two years we can pick him up.
  14. 1988 with an 11-1 start again? I will take it.
  15. Agreed with the exception of the Pats having the best O line in the division.
  16. Nicely put. Considering if Gilmore was not available Glenn would have been the pick, that sounds about right.
  17. Truer words were never spoken..
  18. That is one way to look at it. There should be some consideration to the fact that the Saints won a Superbowl and have gotten a lot better with him on the team. He was also the face of the franchise in the aftermath of Katrina and contributed time and money to assist in rebuilding NO. The Saints do need something for the fans to cheer for during the next twelve months. I would do a four year contract 18.75 million per season. That puts him slightly ahead of Brady at 18 mil and Sam Bradford at 18.4 mil. But the salary cap and the ability to rebuild is always an issue.
  19. Now that is impressive. Jay Leno in outside Super Bowl XXVII, pretty cool guy asked about the Anchor Bar and Dickies Donuts.
  20. Great story. I think preseason is the way to go.
  21. Happy B Day Thurman!!
