  1. You are not the only one.
  2. Chris Brown pretty much confirmed your post. Chris Brown ‏@ChrisBrownBills @blacklabel74 @caggiano_ simply explained why no visits on Thurs or Friday. They had initial targets, some signed on 1st visits elsewhere
  3. The roster bonus was the key, he did not want to be cut during or after training camp and not have a team to play for in 2013. He realized that the Bills could not guarantee a roster spot and he would be better off signing somewhere else to be on a team next season.
  4. The sad part if the Bills would have agreed keep the roster bonus of 3 million he probably would have taken a large pay cut and agreed to be the backup.
  5. Stats are not overly impressive. http://www.nfl.com/player/joshjohnson/264/profile
  6. I do not think there has been any collusion, but some of the national beat writers have sent out tweets asking how the new CBA is working for the NFLPA.
  7. Yes and no. Just WNY by itself absolutely not. Adding Southern Ontario would help but the issue is placing fans in Canada they would have to deal with customs coming in for the game and security for a major event would make it more difficult on game day. In addition, there is the need for two indoor practice facilities. The AFC Team would get the fieldhouse at RWS, but as of now no subtle indoor practice field is close, unless the NFC Team stays in Toronto and practices at Roger Centre. Any stadium complex built would need an attached convention center and a nearby hotel for the media for the game. I think the area would need to be successful in hosting an event such as the Final Four before even being considered for a Super Bowl.
  8. I think it would come down to whether or not WNY and Southern Ontario have enough hotel space. Even then it would be a long shot.
  9. Unless he uses his political connections to make sure the stadium is build in Niagara Falls and sells the land for 25 times what it is worth.
  10. One NIT appearance and three CBI tournaments in 14 seasons did not help. My question is how did Quinn get an extension in football?
  11. Inside info or just a hunch? Based on what he has done with the land in Niagara Falls thus far, I have a feeling he will make us long for the days of Ralph Wilson.
  12. I think that would be too much for him...
  13. Crap.......Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet TE Brandon Myers agreed to a deal with the #Giants, I'm told. Solid. Signing expected soon. ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk Giants sign Brandon Myers http://wp.me/p14QSB-7CR4
  14. We actually signed Lawson(2 days) in less amount of time this year then Mario (3 days) last year. Mark Anderson was not signed until eleven days into free agency last year. So maybe there is still hope to do something.
  15. The problem with both the Bethlehem and Outer Harbor would be traffic flow with Route 5 being the only major access road for both sites
  16. I would rather the Bills take BPA at eight and take the best available QB at 41.
  17. Four possible sites discussed. 1. Bethlehem Steel Site in Lackawanna 2. Outer Harbor 3. Downtown Buffalo 4. Niagara Falls. Really not new information but I thought it was interesting that the committee tasked with finding a new site has already started meeting. http://www.wgrz.com/news/article/206188/37/Sources-Sites-For-New-Bills-Stadium-Already-Under-Discussion
  18. He sounds like an intriguing second round option.
  19. Not doubting he was interested and the Bills never made a call, but if he really wanted to play for the Bills wouldn't he have had his agent contact the them to gauge interest?
  20. Alex Marvez ‏@alexmarvez Lawson said #Bills coaches stressed there are no starters entering the preseason. All positions open. Maybe cliche but raises competition Alex Marvez ‏@alexmarvez Lawson praised #Bengals coaches for his time in Cincinnati but didn't want to offer perspective on what they must do to win playoff game
  21. Do as I say, not as I do?
  22. Pro Football Weekly ‏@ProFootballWkly Per @AdamSchefter, former #Packers WR Greg Jennings has signed with the #Vikings. NFC North rivalry heats up.
  23. Lately I am seriously doubting their ability to get anything done
