  1. It seems to me that these two players are special in the History of the game and because they do not make the money that these players make now some one should realise that. This is the only way they have to make money now. Although I'm sure they both make enough- It just seems that if you are going to pay players $75 Thousand a piece to appear and play then you should pay a guy who has won more then one of these bowls more then that.
  2. I agree Totaly !
  3. I agree Totally!
  4. I agree! Another contest in underware and the kid is the next replacement for Eric Moulds.
  5. That's because he didn't play in college. How is anybody surpose to project a player who didn't play in college as a Super Bowl / Pro Bowl player. Youm ight say I think he will be a good player but you arn't going to tell me that a player that did not play in college is going to be a super star. This kid has plenty of tape on him to form an opinon. He is very bothered by a strong pass rush. That's a fact. Some scouts are trying to excuse this by saying that he did not have a very good O-line. You can excuse it all you want but the fact is that he is bothered by a hard rush up the gut in his face and will make a ton of mistakes because of it. If you can live with that then draft him.
  6. Personally he reminds me a lot of Kerry Collins, Richard Todd. He does not do well against pressure at the college level. I do not think he will change at the pro level.
  7. He is a stud waiting to happen. He might go late in the first round after he starts to work out. Cutler can not take pressure at all. He hides when the pass rush gets near him. Whitehurst is even worse. This kid is raw as hell but has the best upside out of all the QB's in this draft except for Leinart.
  8. Oh so now you are going to dictate when this rule or "suggestion" should be enforced and when it should not be. Will you do it by using hence - your common sense or my comon sense?
  9. How about this-- You answer the thread and as you put it on the board there are three more there just like yours but -- where not there when you went to answer the thread in the first place? Some people are slow. Some people like to check spelling, some people get interupted and some people want to answer a thread and get things off there chest but not read through 40 other threads just to see if some one answered like they did. Maybe they don't have the time to do that, or the baby screamed or they have been up all day working and they want to relax for 20 mins before they go to bed or a whole host of other reasons that you can't indentify with so you don't care. This board is not for your personal pleasure it is for everybody's. Rules that benifit you because you are inconvienced are not what this board is about. At least I think so! Or maybe I am wrong. Maybe I'm just fooling myself. Maybe this board is yours!
  10. JP has more talent but both are head cases. So you might as well stick with the head case who has the most talent!
  11. Typical liberal trying to controll everything by going through the back door. I'm guessing your feelings got hurt so now you want to put in a rule that shows how you feel but is not logical or enforcible. If you don't want to read a post or don't like a post then don't go on the board. It's as simple as that. If you need to know what everybody has said on a thread because you might think that they have said something about you- Then read every post and grow some balls.
  12. Makes me feel like DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis is an option that might remind Marv of Thurman Thomas. It would not surprise me at all if the Bills pick him. I know it would shock some people but not me. Marv is going to look at any impact player at that point of the draft. The first year he is free to do what he wants and he is so excited that I think he wants to make a mark for himself. We might see a few Bills players traded for draft picks also. I do not believe that Marv is married to anybody on this team and if agents start suggesting that players under contract do not want to be here or are un- happy then he just might pull the plug on them and draft young players instead. It would not surprise me at all.
  13. He is without a doubt ready and could help with play calling also. I have know doubt about Van Pelts ability to coach QB's. In fact five years from now if he gets a chance he will be an OC for some team and be very good. And no I am not a related to him. On the Radio his is a step ahead of everybody that was on the Bills coaching the last two years.
  14. Ah ! but the eyes--- they do decieve 1st- he is the only true LT in this draft. 2nd -his body type does not lend itself to being a pancake blocker in the running game ever. 3rd- He is very smart and uses leverage and his long arms to handle his running game blocks. He is effective in the running game. 4th - The players that are going to try and bull rush him are not DT's they are DE's and he will learn to handle this aspect of the game because of his work ethic. 5th- You always look for a LT to be a better pass blocker then a run blocker. He is one of the best pass blockers to come out in a very long time and those talents over ride any concerns that you might have of him and his run blocking. Remember he is a different type of run blocker much more of a finese blocker but he is very effective and gets the job done. You are right he is not your normal bulking, fat, out of shape O-lineman that we are used to seeing. IT's a shock that he is in shape. Where not use to that and neither are the scouts !
  15. I'm sorry to say, I think the garbage about Cutler was a way for the Titians to draw attention away from them picking Ferguson with the 3rd pick of the draft. Bush, Leinart, Ferguson will be the first three picks then the Jets will have a hard decision -- Vince Young QB? Just one person's opinion.
  16. By the way--- Chaos for OBD's public image? A sign of instability and a loss on the investment for a team? Look all of those issues would be answered with the trade. It would send the signal that we are re-directing our focus and are cutting our loses. In fact if anything it would show the public that this team is not in chaos. So far every move that has been made ( GM, VP of Admin, etc,) Has been well thought out and most of us are sensing a calm after the storm type feeling. IMO JP has to develope himself. The team has to win. A small market team no longer has the time to develope a QB. Large markets can get away with it. Big Ben and Brady were thrown into their situations only becasue of injury. They responded because they had the maturity to respond. I just don't feel that JP has the maturity to respond and in a small market we don't have the time to wait for him to grow up. That's the NFL today. Small markets must have competive teams. Large markets can dump a season or two while their young QB matures. Our young QB has to mature on the bench and be ready when he is called upon to perform. If he is called upon to perform and doesn't do very well then he gets sat down and waits his turn again. Coaches have to coach better when the young QB is called upon also. But JP has to make himself ready and it is his job in practice to push the QB ahead of him. He knows he will be a starter but not until he improves enough himself to be the starter. JP has trouble with techniques etc. That alone made him not ready to start. He at least should have the techniques down so that he can make all the throws. After all he has a gun for an arm. I blame the coaches or GM for putting him out there before he was ready without an injury to your starting QB. The days of a young QB getting on the field right away because that is the only way he can learn - are over. He has to learn another way. There is too much money involved. A young QB has to be better prepared to hit the field without this crap of ---- if he doesn't play he will be no good. Brady and Ben have proved this and so have many other QB's in the past.
  17. A well thought out post. You have to agree, that is a lot better then the other clowns who just post to abuse and intiminate other people from posting on what they must consider to be thier own personal board. I've gone through a lot of post on this board over the years and it ---SEEMS LIKE SOME ----of the people on this board have decided that if they don't agree with you - they have the right to abuse you, call you names and try to intiminate you from posting. Let me suggest to the rest of you who feel this way. If you disagree and think the post or thread is stupid then don't bother to post. That is the quickest way to get your point across. Insulting people and suggesting that the post is moronic, or stupid, or any other name that you might think of is just abuse and intimination. Especially comming from you guys who have posted for years. If you want to make this your own personal board with just your thoughts and nobody else's then do a Blog. That's just my opinon! Thank you again for a well thought out post to this thread.
  18. I bet your just a barrel of laughs around the house! If you don't like the post then don't bother to answer it. Your right I don't believe that everything that is talked about on this board happens in real life. So shoot me for suggesting that a robot should think for himself. How foolish of me.
  19. That's all right, we all have our moments. your a stand up guy. Well that's if your a guy --- if your not a guy your still a stand up something!
  20. What are you nuts? What the hell is your problem? "Such a thought'? Look if you haven't got anything constructive to say then don't bother to post. There is nothing wrong with the question or in suggestion the trading of a player.
  21. If you have something to say then say it, If not then don't post. What is so disgusting?
