  1. It just shows how many games can be affected by just one or two plays a game and why so many claims refs bad calls can also change things.
  2. I disagree we'd beat the Rams because the year before without Warner or Marshall Faulk the Rams squeaked a win over us. I get our defense was better too but objectively I don't think our offense was better/worse than the Titans no matter who our QB was and we saw the Rams beat that Titans team.
  3. I have to think Beane sees him as more than a rental being he still has contract left. I think he ultimately replaces Tre assuming he plays well to finish out the season and will get an extension to keep him around for 2-3 more seasons. The question to me is who replaces Hyde/Power. I don't mind keeping Rapp to replace Poyer but replacing Hyde might be more difficult. Maybe that's why Beane is trying to acquire more draft picks (see cheap depth)
  4. I disagree, you can point to any one of our losses. As to be honest we lost 4 AFC games and each game had a moment or two in which we could/should have won with. Is it all on coaching? I don't think so.
  5. I can't agree, Phillips sticking by his ST coach after the Music City Miracle debacle and way he approached the Flutie/Johnson was comical at best. Toss in he still had some of the HOF talent that Levy left him with. McDermott truly changed this team to be one of the bottom feeders to a team that been in the discussion as the leagues best. The only other coach to do that in our history IMO was Knox. Levy gets credit but think he lucked into getting a great DE developing and getting a franchise QB who developed in another league fall into his lap.
  6. I think Kraft could look into relieving BB from his GM or Coaching responsibilities but not both. Ultimately I think BB sticks around until he breaks the coaching win record and then rides off into the sunset or they agree to part their ways much like we "lost" Frasier.
  7. John Harbaugh? sure but not Jim. Yet $18 million too much for any HC.
  8. so can Tony Romo, maybe even better. Yet not sure he's a good OC either.
  9. idk, he seems to be an Alpha much like Diggs, not sure he could deal with getting little money and little receptions/fan fare. As much as we like to think all guys play for ring some just play for the money as know that they likely won't be doing anything else once they retire.
  10. and a partridge in a pear tree... Got that (wide) right.
  11. because the Titans offense is lighting things up?
  12. I'm sure we'll draft someone, when is anyone's guiess. A guy that be interesting would be Xavier Legette as he has size and speed and is in the Rounds 3-5 range. In terms of veterans I'd love to add Michael Pittman but think he'll ask more than we afford.
  13. The offense has struggled this season no doubt but I don't blame it all on Dorsey. IDK Josh just seems to me like he's not the same, lack of energy and/or just not getting good presnap reads that used to etc. I just don't want to fire McD and just go with an OC because again that could hurt our defense which currently the best part of the team.
  14. My question for those that want to fire McDermott, who are you replacing him with? New doesn't always mean better. I've heard many mention Ben Johnson, well guess what the Lions have scored less points then we have this season. Not sure it's all on him but it's worth pointing out. 40 points less. Then my next question who do you replace at DC?
  15. If we can beat Miami, New England and the Jets and find a way to 10 or more wins in total we should have the AFC East. If/when the playoffs get here, who knows what will happen.
  16. Quick name the #2 WR of KC, #2WR in Baltimore #2WR in San Francisco, truth is without google most fans can't name them, why? Because most #2 WRs aren't elite. 17 teams this week scored more than the Bills 18 points, there's an issue throughout the league on offense.
  17. Hines availability means you might be able to give Harry more snaps or try more with him on offense.
  18. Barkley is a UFA after the season so they can't really move him.
  19. Don't tell the OP the Chiefs only have one WR with more than 1 TD.
  20. Taron Johnson needs to play a lesser role IMHO and we need a true big nickel or 3rd LB to play on 1st and 2nd downs. As his struggles this year are becoming more and more obvious as the year continues..same thing for Poyer and to a degree Hyde.
  21. I'm glad we didn't get OBJ. What's he done in Baltimore? Hopkins hasn't lit things up in Tennessee either. Henry is on the wrong side of 30 and cost too much on the cap to be worth while. Yup Shakir is slowly developing into that. Yet still need a size WR (see Higgins) maybe we draft one early next year in the first three rounds when some team gives Davis serious cash.
