Mahomes had more passing TDs than Mr. MVP. Lamar had three games with 0 TDs scored (passing and rushing) and his team only lost 1 of those games, 17-10 to the Steelers.

Who is David?

And to make it worse they freaking play My Way by Frank Sinatra during the nomination preview.

I think Brady was better at reading defenses/taking what they gave him. Whereas Mahomes is best in improvising or going off script, granted sometimes he's more lucky than good as many a time he should be intercepted and he's not or guys pass on tackling him because his fake sideline stuff etc. As much as I hate Mahomes I do have to credit him like Brady he always seems to be not rattled, something Josh has to learn to do TBH.

Kelly might not have missed the kick but he had a bunch of misses in that game to win, when it was clear that the Giants were shutting down the passing game Jim (who called plays) elected to keep on passing instead of running Thurman. He also had really bad clock management in that final drive as often Thurman. After Thurman got tackled at the 29, Kelly had 9 seconds on the clock. He elected to spike the ball instead of running a final play to try and get it closer.

I've watched every season so far and the current one gives me X Files vibes. It's still pretty damn good. The only season I really didn't like was 2. -
Bills Draft Needs - From the Athletic
The Jokeman replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
You really feel good about Rousseau and Miller as your pass rushers next year? If this wasn't as strong year at WR I might say grab the WR in Round 1 yet with the depth I'm willing to wait assuming we lose AJE and Floyd. -
Bills add Miami Hurricanes DB coach Jahmile Addae to coach secondary

He's had college success which means he's probably a good teacher which a good sign. -
Bills to add Ronald Curry as quarterbacks coach (updated)
The Jokeman replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Going forward, his role will increase just because he's been here for a year, and he's going to be able to compete," wide receivers coach Ronald Curry said this summer. "It's kind of the same situation as far as the receiver numbers that are back, but he's a special talent." https://www.nola.com/sports/saints/saints-wr-deonte-harris-on-playing-an-increased-role-on-offense-the-more-they-give/article_17f31d44-eaf3-11ea-8460-07bbd64f906b.html -
The blue on black isn't a great look especially with the red outline. I say that and really like the Mets blue on black with orange outline. Personally I like our current white on blues and the white charging Bison. The only change I could see is bringing back the red standing Bison. Otherwise I say keep things as they are.

Good that he has ties with Brady in NO. I'm guessing it will lead to more Saints/Sean Payton like concepts in 2024. I'll admit I don't know their offense well. -
If Lamar wins it, it's a shame as yes, as a Bills homer I feel Josh should win yet if he doesn't Christian McCaffrey would be 2nd on my list followed by Tyreek Hill. Yet I get it the award is going to likely go to the best player on the best team and not necessarily the most valuable player. I mean everyone knows the Ravens couldn't find a QB that could pass for less than 250 yards in 7 games and score less than 2 TDs per game on his own.

If it's one guy and that one guy gets hurt you could be in serious trouble in a game. Toss in there might be something that NFL and NFLPA worked out to delegate it to two guys to allow more guys be employed.

I agree the final episode was just like why? I admit I posted my suggestion before watching the finale as it definitely felt was leading to something. Yet the finale just didn't do the show any justice as was just horribly foolish. -
Get excited... change is NOW with a youth wave!!!
The Jokeman replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
White, I love him but he's just worn down, last year he wasn't himself and now he's coming off another injury. I'd keep him but at a lesser cap number otherwise I'd move on. Poyer, he's under contract keep him 2024 but after that it's time to say goodbye. Morse like Poyer keep him the season but afterwards time to go. Knox he's breaking down and until we have a good backup TE I keep him around maybe sign a younger vet to develop as a 3rd TE eventual 2nd (see Irv Smith type). -
I've heard some mention we get another former Titan, Bud Dupree to play on the edge.

Should the Bills trade up for their own “Julio Jones”

The 49ers have a good pair in Samel and Ayuik. Toss in CMC the most complete RB in the NFL. -

Ed McCaffrey has a son in this year's draft that plays WR too. -
To me AJE is the most important guy on the list. Is he the best? No but he is the one with the most upside. Now I wouldn't give him top 10 money but to me he's a fringe starting caliber DE so definitely give him a top 64 money, I'd liken him to a Brandon Graham, who is making $5 million a season which seems high but is actually the 32nd highest salary amongst DEs.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
The Jokeman replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love all these rumors and yet Diggs always has a smile on his face on the field and always telling the media that it's not true etc. -
Mitch Morse and Eric Wood. Centered On Buffalo.
The Jokeman replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's coming on his 5th year and not been able to break the starting lineup yet and/or replaced by others (see McGovern). I think he's a career backup, not a horrible because of his position flexibility but I'd rather find a younger successor to Morse tbh. -
We're living on the edge...

Well he did play for Paul Hackett at Pitt....
