  1. Darius Slayton or Dyami Brown could fill this roll, I prefer the first as a bit more proven and possibly more reliable. I'm sure most of us weren't wowed by Mack Hollins name last offseason either.
  2. 5 years of school will do that to you.
  3. I didn't see it as I was born in 1977 but OJ Simpsons season is easily one of the best in NFL history. Yet if watch the highlights he had size, speed and an ability to stop and start without missing a beat. It's easy to see when he probably amongst the 5 best RBs of all time. His 1975 season might have been better all wish his additional receiving yards/TDs.
  4. Only because they were forced to put their true LG at LT. Don't forget we did extend Mike White in the middle of the season.
  5. and we could have his replacement already in toe with Camarda. (pun intended).
  6. Point being both were thrown short and again heavily targeted. From a statistically stand point if you give Keon 55 more targets his stats increase, right? I will agree he isnt a MCConkey or Worthy but that IS THE POINT WE DIDN'T NEED THEM we needed an outside WR that could hit down the sideline which Coleman showed he can do on occasion, he still needs to improve no doubt and am sure he will. Now I get you view Coleman as a big slot but time will tell on that.
  7. Only guy on that list worth cutting is Von, the rest I don't see the savings vs finding a replacement does anything to help us. I wouldn't be opposed to package AJE to acquire a Garrett or Crosby back in a trade.
  8. and guess what, that's how Worthy and McConkey were used by LAC and KC yet because the rest of their receiving corps funneled passes to one guy where we didn't with Coleman. Why? because we scheme guys open to allow Josh to almost always have a guy to throw too. Again to me the difference between Keon and guys like Worthy and McConkey is volume of targets. You give Keon the same amount of targets am sure Keon right with them in regards to receptions and yards and TDS maybe even better since Keon was almost twice YPC than either one of them or maybe just about the same because of a lesser catch percentage.
  9. Most of the offensive line could start on playoff teams, James Cook could. Shakir likely start in the slot for some not all playoff teams. Gregg Rousseau likely start with most playoff caliber teams, Ed Oliver and Matt Milano. Terrell Bernard might be 50/50 guy. Now are all of them best of the best talent? No, but you can't have all pros at every position in today's NFL.
  10. and he was a pretty good WR in college. I've said it before and will say it again Keon reminds me of Muhsin Mohammed in that he's lengthy and does have some RAC abilities, will he ever be a great top 5 #1 WR? No but he can still be an above average WR in this league.
  11. Or hopefully a QB like Dart falls to us and we can take him at #30 cuz you know BPA.
  12. Part of that is on Keon no doubt but also everyone knows longer passes have a lesser success rate in most cases. Keon did show he can outrun defenders and can be a playmaker when the ball is in his hands. Hopefully in 2025 our offense can evolve and allow Keon more chances to get the ball in space with more slants and curls, flats and digs.
  13. You're so quick to dismiss that Coleman had 175 yards less of YAC below McConkey on 55 less targets. If Coleman had as many targets as McConkey he would had almost exactly the same amount of yards and as many TDs. I guess it's easy to miss those numbers because they don't fit your narrative. Do some digging and look how many rookie WRs averaged more than 19 yards per catch the last four seasons. Tell you what I'll save you the trouble. Just one by the name of Keon Coleman. But yeah he's just an average WR.
  14. Why not hindsight and select... 33. Ruke Orhorhoro, DT. 60. Malachi Corley, WR. 95. Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S All guys taken around same picks you mentioned but less productive then what we got. Showing how much hindsight can assist judgement. Do you feel McConkey significantly better than Shakir? If so who did we have on the roster that have to replace Coleman on the outside?
  15. Guess we were lucky that we didn't draft Xavier Legette or Ja'Lynn Polk that we could have drafted too with their much worse stats.
  16. That's the way the cookie crumbles...😏
  17. He's coming off a career year and Super Bowl ring. Let someone else over pay for him as he small at 290#
  18. Good catch as was Kentavius Street who was also a member of that NC State defensive line who has played for Nielsen in New Orleans and Atlanta. He might be a decent depth signing.
  19. I call him risky as he doesn't live up to his physicals which could mean he's had bad coaching or he's unmotivated etc. Hard to say for sure but then again that's why he's lower rated as he just isn't refined.
  20. Collins is risky not only as a prospect but also falling to 56. I've seen it happen too many times that guys hope to fall don't. Keeanu Benton was a guy I pegged a few years back that I wanted but ended up going to the Steelers.
  21. It's a fair gripe but truth is 2 gap run stuffers aren't easy to find as everyone just assumes if a guy is big that he can do it yet the truly great ones aren't just big but athletic which to me is Tyleik and I would much over draft a big guy that can perform.
  22. Tyleik Williams big run stuffer to free up Oliver to rush the passer.
  23. My point being it takes a team to win a Super Bowl, the Bills defense isn't anywhere near as talented as the Eagles defense so even if the Bills have AJ Brown on it's team as it is today I doubt it will get us any closer to the Super Bowl we have been thus far.
  24. Was it AJ that got his team the ring or his defense as he had 3 catches for 48 yards and a TD that game, would you call that super production?
  25. Tyleik Williams is no slouch and likely to be available at 30.
