  1. You're so quick to dismiss that Coleman had 175 yards less of YAC below McConkey on 55 less targets. If Coleman had as many targets as McConkey he would had almost exactly the same amount of yards and as many TDs. I guess it's easy to miss those numbers because they don't fit your narrative. Do some digging and look how many rookie WRs averaged more than 19 yards per catch the last four seasons. Tell you what I'll save you the trouble. Just one by the name of Keon Coleman. But yeah he's just an average WR.
  2. Why not hindsight and select... 33. Ruke Orhorhoro, DT. 60. Malachi Corley, WR. 95. Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S All guys taken around same picks you mentioned but less productive then what we got. Showing how much hindsight can assist judgement. Do you feel McConkey significantly better than Shakir? If so who did we have on the roster that have to replace Coleman on the outside?
  3. Guess we were lucky that we didn't draft Xavier Legette or Ja'Lynn Polk that we could have drafted too with their much worse stats.
  4. That's the way the cookie crumbles...😏
  5. He's coming off a career year and Super Bowl ring. Let someone else over pay for him as he small at 290#
  6. Good catch as was Kentavius Street who was also a member of that NC State defensive line who has played for Nielsen in New Orleans and Atlanta. He might be a decent depth signing.
  7. I call him risky as he doesn't live up to his physicals which could mean he's had bad coaching or he's unmotivated etc. Hard to say for sure but then again that's why he's lower rated as he just isn't refined.
  8. Collins is risky not only as a prospect but also falling to 56. I've seen it happen too many times that guys hope to fall don't. Keeanu Benton was a guy I pegged a few years back that I wanted but ended up going to the Steelers.
  9. It's a fair gripe but truth is 2 gap run stuffers aren't easy to find as everyone just assumes if a guy is big that he can do it yet the truly great ones aren't just big but athletic which to me is Tyleik and I would much over draft a big guy that can perform.
  10. Tyleik Williams big run stuffer to free up Oliver to rush the passer.
  11. My point being it takes a team to win a Super Bowl, the Bills defense isn't anywhere near as talented as the Eagles defense so even if the Bills have AJ Brown on it's team as it is today I doubt it will get us any closer to the Super Bowl we have been thus far.
  12. Was it AJ that got his team the ring or his defense as he had 3 catches for 48 yards and a TD that game, would you call that super production?
  13. Tyleik Williams is no slouch and likely to be available at 30.
  14. and again where has he gotten his team in the playoffs? Regular season is great but everyone crying for a WR is claiming we aren't doing enough in the playoffs.
  15. Then stop ordering stuff that isn't on the menu
  16. and where has Justin Jefferson gotten the Vikings to in the playoffs?
  17. That's his listed size, time will tell if it's true or not.
  18. Well put and great way to put things in perspective on Worthy.
  19. We hit on Von but he got a substantial injury that he hasn't been able to rebound from. As recall the board was also high in Chandler Jones in retrospect neither lived up to their contracts but when Von was healthy he did show good things. Elam on the other hand I can't explain. From an athletic stand point he looks good. I remember his predraft video and his playbook so felt had the sense to put effort in yet not sure what happened. Yet it happens.
  20. Better drafts how? Was Ricky Pearsal better than Coleman? Was Rasheen Ali and Shipley better than Ray Davis? I agree with your edit.
  21. Reading his review all he did is dog Keon. To be honest I think Davis, Carter and Carrington made impacts. Were they amazing? No but again look where we were drafting them. It's more like realistic expectations and recognizing that sometimes some players have better stats because of opportunity vs pure talent alone.
  22. Imagine that drafting at the bottom of the draft and get bottom of the draft production.
  23. I think the thought of WR is that likely we added Cooper mid season and likely to lose him leaving us with the WR core we started with at start of 2024 season. I'm okay adding one to the mix but not a number 1 need.
  24. I think Bobby going to get big money but am a fan for sure.
