TSW 1.0 Poll - Who should the Bills select at #30 (Poll Closed)
The Jokeman replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lynch was a great pick, a shame we shipped him out to Seattle. I would have loved to seen what our offense could have been with Lynch/Jackson and Dez Bryant. -

Well Hamlin and Forrest are here on one year deals and Bishop is still a question mark. I can see adding one on day 3 to fill the back end of the roster for this year and be a backup in 2026. -

Yes/no I mean football as much about talent but also self drive, fitting in with coaches/teammates etc. it's why drafting is no easy task as many variables. If it was black and white somebody would find the formula eventually. -
Dak coming off an injury, new coaching staff, Jerry looking for excuses not to pay Dak. I think a better chance than you think.

Until you draft a QB that can't recall your 9 worded calls to tell the X WR to run a A route, your slot guy run run a C and your TE and Oline to slide protection to the left for a screen to the FB and instead takes a sack because he was waiting for the TE to run a a route. -
Milton wanted a chance to start but I agree bad compensation back to New England. Guess what? Thomas would not have produced at same level here in Buffalo and you'd be whining that gave up a 2nd rounder in a WR that got 750-800 yards receiving.

Owners approve rules adjustments for Replay, OT, and Kickoff
The Jokeman replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree that new kickoff/onside kick rules are just horrible. I'm sure it's just going to be teams continually kicking the ball through the endzone until they make it that those kicks will allow offenses to start at the 50. -

We need a 1 tech not only to compliment Oliver but to help our LBs/run defense and in tow help our DE get to QBs if he's tying up multiple blockers. Which in turn helps the pass defense etc. Truth is a true NT/1 tech has been sorely needed since we traded away Dareus. That said I didn't vote for Nolen as to me he isn't the type of DT we need. Truth be told athletic run stuffing DT aren't easiest things to find but I see one that should be available when we pick and why been harping on Tyleik Williams all off season. -

I'd hate to be a KC season ticket holder if it happens. -

Based on those listed I went with Amos but still banging a drum for NT Tyleik Williams. -

Rick's friend's monologue one for the ages. -
It will be interesting what they do with George Pickens, he has glimpses of greatness and now with DJ Metcalf paired with him he might less double coverage yet he seems to pout if he doesn't get targets, I imagine they make him walk in free agency if get a younger guy in Rounds 1-3 this season.

We could also take a Punter with one of those low 5ths/early 6th picks we have clustered together. Eddie Czaplicki is a guy I like.

Then you make a 4.51 your primary back your former backup (Ray Davis) and your second backup 4.4 guy (Ty Johnson) your primary backup, draft a RB high next year and start the cycle all over again.

Actually NFL players receive two-thirds (66.67%) of the proceeds from jersey sales, with the remaining third going to the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), which then distributes some of that money into a pool for all players. -
Hopefully his ST in KC never figures out to get him out of it.

That or could see more teams using lineman in the backfields as FB. -
Actually Punt God showed terrible control on his kicks as he rarely pinned teams inside the 20 as all too often his punts were touchbacks. As his net average was 8 yards less than his gross. Great leg but needs to work on more hang time and/or forcing the opposition to return the punt.

Toss in Taron Johnson was a 4th Rounder, EJ Gaines was a 6th Rounder, Levi Wallace was undrafted. Sure it's nice to have better athletes but McDermott has shown he can coach up player's abilities, Elam was just a miss for whatever reason. To me we need a big ugly in the first. -
I'm guessing blue and do you have a blue house?

McDermott in animated discussion with Roseman?
The Jokeman replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott mentioned in his press conference he's all for running a version of it as long as player safety involved, it doesn't shock me as he seems like a players guy first, whereas front office guys don't care as much. -

Second half kick still remains a mystery to me. I mean how can the refs in the sky make a call based on what they feel was the return mans intent. -

I don't think Grant will be there. I like Harmon but he doesn't fit the need of a run stuffer that we lack. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up drafted by a team running a 3-4 to play on the end.
