He did and according to https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/03/26/curtis-samuel-fit-washington-football-offense/ In 2020, new Panthers coordinator Joe Brady used him in the slot about 60 percent of the time.

But McDermott is 1-0 against Baltimore in the playoffs.
-
His teammate Cornelius Johnson, WR has caught my eye as a possible 5th or later round pick.

I say nay. I brought him up in another thread but K'Von Wallace is a young (26) Safety who played at his best last year under our new nickel coordinator. He has position flexibility in can play either Safety sports and even contribute as a slot CB. He isn't expect to command more than $2.5 million a season which quite affordable, at the very least he'll be a good depth guy but he could replace Hyde at FS.

Most games are won/lost by a handful of plays. Sometimes you can blame coaches on them (see McDermott/Smiley call on Hamlin punt runyet all that did was cost us was field position and however long the Chiefs had the ball before the Hardman fumble) and others you can't (see Josh's failure to hit Shakir/Diggs on 2nd down and whomever missed on 3rd down and Bass' missed field goal. To say we were outcoached puts no onus on the players which is just not fair to our coaching staff. Why is it when Patrick Mahomes struggled this season it was because he had bad WRs? Yet when we struggle it's lack of good players and good coaching? The reason so many are blaming Josh for not getting it to Diggs on 2nd down was because that was his decision, our coaches schemed Diggs open and at the end of the day our QB elected to go elsewhere unlike he did most of the day. As most of the day he took the open guy and allowed the offense to milk the clock. To blame it simply on the coaches is lazy.

Which QB Will Win Their First SB Next?

Lamar over Allen is a laugh. Yes, Baltimore might be a better team but until they get a better QB they aren't going anywhere. -
BILLS hire nickel coach and senior defensive assistant
The Jokeman replied to Comebackkid's topic in The Stadium Wall
Another name would be K'von Wallace who played well last season under Booker. He can play both Safety spots, manage the slot and was a big nickel in college. -
I hope Josh's dad is his caddy and was able to enjoy this moment.

Nope it's bad enough when smell it on the road. I can only imagine with the stank inside and that close to you.

All the best and congratulations.

Grown men by age only. Sadly some of them never grow up (mature).

Per Yardbarker, Aiyuk may want out of SF
The Jokeman replied to BillsWest's topic in The Stadium Wall
It cost us a lot more than just Diggs to get Ayuk as he's going to be in his prime years. While I'd love to have him not sure he's worth the compensation unless we get him for a 2nd or lower. Close to 18 yards per catch, 71.4% catch rate about to be 26 years old. He might not be the best WR in the NFL but he's in the top 10-15 discussion IMO -
WR or Dlineman? What would be your main priority..
The Jokeman replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
D-line. How many 1st Rounders does KC at WR? I'll give you a hint it starts with Z and ends in ero. We were able to turn a 2nd Round RB into the 4th leading rusher in the league. A 5th Rounder in Diggs has been amongst the best at his position. Look at the league leaders in receptions last year it's littered with WR drafted outside Round 1. By contrast look at sack leaders, at least half of the top 20 were selected in Round 1. Because pass rusher is more about pure speed, strength and athleticism. Where receiving is about route running, short area quickness and getting open quicker sooner than later and ability to avoid or strong enough to get off a jam. Why did the 49ers lose Sunday? Not because they couldn't score in OT but because they couldn't stop KC's offense in the OT. -
So Spencer Brown what say you?
The Jokeman replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the OP was confused with what say you? or would you re-sign him? -

It depends, if he looking for top end money I say move on. If he looking for average money I could see him around another 4-5 seasons. -
Yup and in our playoff game we scored the 2nd most points against KC this past season, only Green Bay with 27 scored more.
-
I admit I didn't realize that it was a forever ending clock aka let's say KC doesn't get the TD to win it at the end and time expires they still keep playing. As I didn't know a 2nd OT quarter would begin, I thought it was 2nd team gets to score with rest of time left to tie or go ahead otherwise they lose.

Worked with Brady at LSU.
-
I had an 8 for the 49ers and 3 for the Chiefs. I had no chance once the 9ers went up 3-0.
-
I'm not sure he's a great leader. Probably best suited at an OC but needs a HC that can call in him on bad decisions in game.
-
Patriots because they were in division and had to play them twice per year and almost every year both games were bad losses. Toss is we couldn't compete with them. Now we can compete with the Chiefs and I don't think we're that far off. Injuries to key guys have cost us in the playoffs versus them IMHO.

Shhh only Beane makes draft busts and takes too many players on defense according to some here.
-
Well at least the Bills can say they lost to the Super Bowl champs.
