The league is showing that size isn't as vital as it used to be look at WRs like Devonta Smith, Jordan Addison, Josh Downs and Tank Dell, producing despite being "light weights" Sure Franklin has the size to gain but if it's for the sake of losing his speed than it might not be worth it.

and what is more painful is the Bills beat the Giants in the regular season when we lost to them in the Super Bowl XXV. In fact we injured Simms in that game (Kelly went down too). One has to wonder if Simms playing would have impacted the game at all.

Adding David Edwards wasn't a bad move either, I'd welcome him back to be our 6th OL/depth at Guard again.

I was a teenager at the time (I turned 13 in 1990) so it was quite a ride for a fan to say the least.

Ugh reviewing that game it's amazing how little time we spent on offense, drives all over the place of two-three minutes, it's no wonder the defense got gassed in the 3rd quarter. The worst to me was the third one, as felt like the greatest comeback was a sign that we were meant to take it that year only to get crushed by Dallas.

My immediate thought on this subject was one band and one song, it was the Traveling Wilburys and this feel good hit:

Bilal Nichols is on the younger side (27) that's more of a run stuffer than pass rusher that might be an affordable add.

Bills official offseason Cap moves thread.

If Indy doesn't franchise Pittman is br shocked as he's far and away their best WR and with a young QB starting it be foolish that let another team nab him. -
Or do they draft a QB in Round 1 of this year's draft?

Which allowed the Bills to be a horrible team and end up with the #1 overall pick in 1985 and get Bruce Smith. -
I'm about to start my second year of a dynasty, I made our playoffs last year as put a strong starting cast but injuries hurt me when lost Tank Dell and Rhamondre Stevenson went down late. I have some good younger/inexperienced backups. I made a few moves that in retrospect may have been a mistake. Specifically cutting Tyson Chandler in the early part of the season when looks like he was getting buried on the depth chart.

Sad to say but imagine most teams/employers would take a similar stance in something like this. As mentioned by others stated the media would be constantly criticize the decision to play/pay a man who in the court of public opinion was guilty and moreso when employed by a woman like Kim Pegula (yes she been absent but she still a part owner of this team).

Cover 1's Top Free Agent Fits for the Bills

Did you see the DL we have signed for next season? It's Ed Oliver, Eli Ankou, Kamerin Cline, Von Miller, Greg Roussea and Kingsley Jonathan. 2 definite starters, 1 question mark and a bunch of PS/bottom of the roster guys. Which to me a lot less than our WRs are. -
He's 3rd on the pecking order in KC assuming McKinnon is still there/healthy. He might be looking for a change of scenery since he got bumped by Pacheco etc. Yet he wouldn't start here so he might still go elsewhere yet think he's a good compliment to Cook. Of course I could also see going after AJ Dillon or drafting someone late like Isaiah Davis in the draft to give us a "bigger" back.

They already have one of the best punters in the league. I doubt Punt God makes their team but for his sake he shows something and someone else signs him. I'd love it if he came back here as he can flip the field which in some games vital. We could have signed him the practice squad after the cut though and at least held his rights a little longer to see how things finished.

How often top UFA WRs get open vs single man coverage

60% o Samuel's snaps that year were in the slot, if we sign him we'd have to kick Shakir outside, not sure that's the best way to use him since he excelled in slot last year. -

I think you mean Two wongs don't make a white. -
I'm curious if you've evaluated Cornelius Johnson from Michigan at all? as he's on my sleeper list of WR. I mentioned before but think his size and skill set remind me of Romeo Doubs who the Packers took in the late 4th a few seasons ago and came up big for them in the playoffs.

I loved Bourne as an in season trade candidate but now he's coming off an ACL tear so he's not on my short list. I will bang the drum though for Noah Brown who has similar size and skill set that Gabe does and likely a lot cheaper. Toss in he showed last year in Texas he could be a pseudo WR1 when others around him got hurt. I also like the idea taking a WR early yet more into liking taking one after round 1 as feel we need a quality DE and to me harder to find that after round 1 than a WR. I mentioned Brown and Ja'Lynn Polk in Round 2 and then taking a guy like Cornelius Johnson in Round 5. -
The same head coach that it seemed the team to rally around when it came to questions about the type of person he was?
