    He fits Safeties that played QB in high school we seem to like. He could definitely help replace Hyde as gotta ironic both former Hawkeyes. He'd also be a nifty return man too. It's just not sure he's doesn't go sooner than we pick as he might be a CB in many scouts eyes.

    The problem is in Tennessee he is the primary focus of the passing game. In Buffalo he's likely 2nd or maybe even 3rd in the pecking order. Would he be better than our 3rd option. Is now? Sure but as you elude at the expense of Floyd. To me it's not worth it.

    So I'm guessing you'd advocate that the Bills take Jerry Rice instead of Bruce Smith #1 overall in 1985? cause you know our offense wasn't good enough in the 90s because we had a inferior WR that got in the 4th Round of that same draft named Andre Reed.

    You either have to bottom out or getting a better QB in most cases to advance, see the Chiefs pre Mahomes.

    Dak is similar to Kirk Cousins, great stats but he doesn't take his team further. To me that's not a guy you want to keep long term. Move on.

    And as a passing league if you can't protect your franchise QB it doesn't matter how good your WRs are. See Cincy with an injured Burrow not in the playoffs. WR is not the biggest need if we lose Floyd and AJE in free agency. I can debate last year's playoffs loss was lack of a quality CB1 and missing Von Miller and Da'quan Jones on the DLineman.

    To me you evaluate the draft as a whole and get the best collection of talent. Some would call it value based drafting. You can draft for need but doesn't mean always taking the BPA as you need to look at the board as a whole picture not just each round as they come up.
