Sharing a stadium with the Sabres makes more logical sense with the whole One Buffalo marketing.

freeney plays about 6 snaps a game. I don't think Mario is quite to that stage. He's at the Ware stage. He's just as good, when he's putting forth the same effort as Ware. IMO
Mario is in Julius Peppers in his last few years in Chicago territory. I hope we don't cut him as Peppers proved in Green Bay he can still get double digit sacks.

Neeraj is one of the main contributors on this board under a new name. I'm not saying who it is because I don't know if he wants to be known. The person he would constantly argue with is George Melino. They were constantly going at it. One would say up; the other would say down; one would say yes; the other would say no; one would say stop; the other would say go; one would say it was blue; the other would say it was green; one would say your farts stink; the other would say my farts are aromatic; one would say ying; the other would say yang. The bickering would never end. In other words they were soul-mates.

My Hyper Bills name was Brian D. Most of the draft debates came from me that I wanted to draft players that fit our scheme. Like one year I felt we should draft Julian Peterson because he was a better fit in a 3-4 then some other higher rated prospect.

I was watching the superbowl announcers (Simms and Nantz) praise Wade for dropping Ware and Co. back into coverage to "confuse" Cam...
Do people realize that Ware and Miller are LBs? Mario Williams is a big man at 6'6" 290. Whereas I'd venture to say Miller and Ware are at most 260. As a result they are probably tad more athletic. If look at Wade's defenses through the years he's been at his best with 3-4 type personnel, see Bryce Paup in Buffalo, Ware in Dallas/Denver and Miller in Denver. Mario had some success in Wade defense in Houston but left there because he didn't want to play OLB in Wade's scheme.

In another year or two Reinhart is going to be a center. Effectively playing in front of the net was a role that not many people expected. The attributes that stood-out when he was a prospect were his instincts and hockey intelligence. Ultimately he's going to be a distributor more than a finisher. He would be a high quality number #two center.
I understand your attraction to Stamkos but there is no way that he could he fit in with the type of lucrative and length of contract he will soon command.
I agree with you that Girgensons would be an ideal third center. And although Ennis has been off the shelf due to injuries his ability to score and create are still talents that this offensively challenge team needs in the not to distant future.
The Moulson contract and length (I believe another two years) is going to limit the team's options. Maybe a buyout could be utilized. Not only has he dropped off the cliff but he has also vanished. He's a good guy who simply has lost it. That's a shame. .
The Sabres aren't close to the cap so we can over pay Moulson. In retrospect a move I would have liked this offseason was offer Taresenko an offer sheet similar to the contract he got from St. Louis and if they matched try and to haggle Oshi from them because they couldn't keep both of them under contract and we end up with a top 6 winger.

No way as sounds like she likes giving Golden showers.

Omaha magazine? Aren't there enough posts about Peyton's looming retirement already?

ICE was memorable for his tirades, cablelady for her sweetness. Heck I even have memories from the HyperBills board at D & C.com. Neeraj Mangla and John Paworski (sp?) and I had many heated who to draft debate. As remember the Eric Moulds' draft when many felt that Leland McElroy was the pick or others were upset we didn't take Bobby Engram or another WR in Derrick Mayes from Notre Dame and I wanted Amani Toomer to pair with his former QB at Michigan, Todd Collins.

Yup. He would have been a hero with his 10 completions and 131 yards passing. And let's not forget that he absolutely refused to take more than 6 sacks that game. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it.
And the Titans were within one yard of that Super Bowl. So stop with the defeatist "we wouldn't have been good enough to win it all anyway". Was it the best Bills team of all-time? No. But they just might have been the best team in the NFL at that point in the season.
He did his best Flutie game manager impression that day, just enough to win if it not been a ST gaffe. Our offense wasn't playing much better for most of 1999 and really struggled putting up points yet most Flutie apologist want to ignore that. In terms of the sacks, I'm pretty sure we had injuries all along the offense line that day. Sure some sacks can be blamed on RJ but I know it wasn't Flutie's fault he got sacked by Trace Armstrong and fumbled in the 1998 playoff loss to the Dolphins.

There may be a question as to where he ends up but not how he'll do.
He'll do well next year provided he is not asked to cover Odell Beckham. About 28 of the 32 teams are smart enough to let him rush the passer. Sadly we are not one of them.
Cuz. Rex. Sux.
He got a pivotal sack in our win against the Jets to finish out the season, it will either be ironic or a sign that maybe Rex finally succumbed to the errors he made in 2015. Personally I don't like the idea of letting Mario walk and reconfiguring this D in Rex's mold as think take two offseasons to get there which I don't think we have.

rumours to keep the cap number on our payroll....
If Mario wants to stay he'll redo his deal, if not he's good as gone. The question is where he ends up.

Imagine what could have been for the Bills if some senile, meddling owner hadn't decided to play coach and force Wade into starting RJ in a meaningless game against the Colts ...
Wade would have won the SB that year, and probably at least one more time during his multi-year coaching tenure.
Instead, we got Gregg Williams.
Congrats Wade - one of the best and underappreciated coaches the Bills ever had.
Or imagine if someone made a tackle on Special Teams and everyone would love RJ because he lead us to the game winning FG with his sock flapping all over the field in that final drive. That said I don't think our D would have been good enough to stop the Rams.

I'm just pointing it out because it goes a long ways in the thought process of taking a QB. I trust in Whaley as he seems to know how to build a roster thus far. It wouldn't shock me if we take a QB in the first three rounds of this draft if a guy we project as a better long term answer at QB is there. Case in point is a guy like Connor Cook who during all if last off season he was graded as the best QB entering the draft. He played well this season and MSU had a great season. Now he's been soured on due to his strugglrs with Alabama. It could cause him to slip to 18 or lower but he's be a guy be happy if the Bills took him. As if Tyrod doesn't take the 2016 Bills to the playoffs then I question if we should invest the BIG money he might be seeking next offseason as in giving him that kind of contract could cost us guys like Gilmore or Watkins down the road and honestly I believe more in them than Taylor for long term success.i meant his first season (playing, obviously) I don't think anyone had an opinion of him prior to seeing him play.
-
You mean his 5th season.Skurski is the same guy who asked EJ at Super bowl radio row two years ago after his rookie year if the Bills should draft a QB in the 1st round. When EJ asked him "what do you think?" Skurski said he thought they should. Tim Graham endorsed. So, guess Jay is a much bigger fan of TT's first season.

Got that right but it was odd that Josh never appeared in that episode also I also assumed he was Jewish or is his sister not? Finally got a chance to watch it. It was great. Santa is a freak!
Deb and Carl are better in small doses IMHO.i haven't seen this season yet, i am worried that deb is going to be on screen too much...she bugs the **** out of me. i absolutely love the show.

The smallness helps with the streamline approach and because every time I go things are almost always in same place it usually takes me twenty minutes to finish whereas other supermarkets it takes a lot more time. The only think I am reserved from buying there are meats but their snacks, soy milk, brick cheese and frozen items just as good as labeled brands. We have a new store about :10 from my house. I don't see a reason to go back. It's very small and reminds me of grocery discount stores from 30+ years ago. Very unremarkable!

Yeah, he couldn't overcome Chris Palmer's coaching and team construction. Palmer imposed upon Carr a career death sentence by defensive mauling - exactly like he did to Couch in Cleveland.
The same Chris Palmer that's part of the Bills' coaching staff http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches/palmer-chris/abd87091-3782-4fad-a984-c61f374f91ea

I've been watching Schitt'$ Creek on Amazon Prime and it's decent. It isn't for everyone but stars Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and Chris Elliott so it has it's comedic moments yet admit it took a few episodes for me to warm up to it.

As an NFL HC?
I could see Peyton readding him to the Saints staff and when Brees retires Peyton walking away and leaving the job in Marone's hands.

Anybody binge Mr. Robot? I admit the premier was pretty good so going to give the rest of season a chance.
-
What about Hankerson?
Schmitd is a keeper, Gillislee needs to work hard this off-season. Butler and Salas will fight for roster spots next year.
We claimed him to prevent the Patriots from re-signing him for their playoff run.
-
He didn't take much of a step up this year. Not sure I'd go hard after him. One guy who did step up this year. Not sure he'll ever be an NFL starter but if looking for a guy outside Round 1.
The QB I was referencing in this statement was Kevin Hogan.

yeah, he is not going to bring in anyone that doesn't run his system, and his DC is going to be more of a figure head while he is the mind behind it. If, and that's a big if, Rex gets rid of Thurman and replaces him with someone else, it's more likely to be someone he has a tie with in the past. I think Petting could be a possibility if there's a stolen here to be a DC and he has no other offers, but more then likely I can see him bringing in his brother Rob....
I could see Pettine replacing one of our 2 LB coaches since both weren't all that experienced when we brought them in and if we need a sacrificial lamb one of them makes sense. Maybe we also give Pettine an Associate HC title or something too but I can't see Rex cutting ties with Thurman as think their too close.

You can't cut all of the decent (and decently paid) players simply for the sake of cap room. The Bills' cap situation isn't going to be that bad anyway.
2016 it looks good but 2017 could be a dangerous cap year as Tyrod will be free and Gilmore's contract will be up. As a result I think the Bills won't be dishing out many big money deals this offseason.
