  1. As of noon players can sign contracts for the new season I think is how they word it now.
  2. Sam Darnold or Josh Sweat are most likely the names most will quote.
  3. Call me crazy but think our defense's inability to stop the KC offense has been a bigger concern than our offense's ability to score the last few seasons. He's on my short list with Slayton, I just prefer Slayton as think he less of a risk.
  4. Which averages to 6 sacks per season which what AJE has averaged the last 3 seasons, is that a serious improvement?
  5. I'm bringing in Slayton for outside speed and Hollins and 4 and 5 respectively toss in a draft pick likely in early day 3. Negligence is that we had the 2nd best points per game last season with a similar WR core.
  6. Move CB Kaiir Elam in a trade Re-sign RB Ty Johnson Re-sign WR Mack Hollins Sign WR Darius Slayton 2 years Sign NT TJ Slaton 4 years Sign CB Paulson Adebo 4 years Sign DE Za'Darius Smith 2 year Sign CB Dane Jackson 1 year Sign LB/S Jeremy Chinn 3 years
  7. Actually they've said rather go with Fields. Some mumbles may pursue Rodgers or Cousins too.
  8. Gotta wonder what Pickens thinks of this.
  9. The pre-Walsh 49ers. Amazing how much we got in return tbh.
  10. Chiefs? He's a career RT. Plans to shift Jawaan false start? Or agent making up interest to raise contract offers?
  11. The guy I'd bring in at #3 role and groom Soloman with Matt Judon.
  12. Sounds like they've already started....
  13. Vrabel connection, makes sense (and a helluva lot of cents).
  14. If Hollins gets $5 million I wish him well. I'd give him $3.5 million maybe $4 million with incentives as at end of day he's still a #4 WR.
  15. Let the Chargers waste cap and draft picks on DK. Give me guys like Mack and Josh Palmer to fill holes and add to the Dline.
  16. Adams plays outside. Kupp is a slot guy and been hit with injury bug the last 3 seasons.
  17. None of them are making $18 million a season and not looking for even more after this one.
  18. I think he's closer to 303 than 330, He's solid player, I likened De'Wayne Carter to him. Not a big guy by any means so I wouldn't call him a 1 tech and has good pass rush numbers but is that him or bring next to Bosa? Here's his pff 2024 grades https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/maliek-collins/10701#gradesWidget And his draft profile https://www.nfl.com/prospects/maliek-collins/3200434f-4c63-3184-3f7e-5796185e9486
  19. Great points. He likely wants to be traded and given a new contract. Not sure he the alpha #1 WR people think we need.
  20. In 2023 he had 11 games with less than 80 yards In 2022 he had 12 games with less than 80 yards In 2021 he had 14 games with less than 80 yards receiving. In 2020 he had 7 games with less than 80 yards receiving. In 2019 he has 13 games with less than 80 yards receiving. Just some food for thought
  21. Are you aware that Metcalf had 11 games last season with less than 80 yards receiving?
  22. Elam showed me against KC he not going to workout here. I had hope as he did show good things here and there but no consistency whatsoever. Time to just move along.
  23. Or maybe they've agreed to terms but holding off announcing it cuz you know stuff like that happens all the time. Give the extensions get the press this weekend, re-signers press Monday and Tuesday and new guys Wednesday and beyond.
  24. It's called scouting the draft and anticipating what be available with our pick. Fill other holes in free agency and give your self a direction in the draft. Heck look at those 90s drafts wed lose a CB in free agency and draft one in the 1st round to replace them. It was almost a yearly cycle.
