He signed an extension earlier this year so he won't be available.
Why cut Ty or Hughes? They're both solid depth. I don't think Spain cost a lot to bring back and he's been solid this season and rather have him in there than Ford.
Singeltary just needs a complimentary back, I know everyone quoting size but the truth is Singletary runs big, I want some speed like and if someone like Salvon Ahmed comes out he could be someone worth a look.
He takes so much pressure off of Lamar, honestly I think he is a key cog. I mean the Bills held him in check and for most part we kept Ravens in check.
Hyde's been pretty good there this year. That said I think a game between Houston would be won and lost based on our offense performance. As much as I liked the big plays last week against the Pats I'd love to seen one long time killing drive that lead to some points.
The smiling in making the comment is what irks me most, I mean he's proud of his accomplishment/attempt to cheat. That's what disgusts me more than anything.
We can be short sited though as we also have concerns at RB, depth on the O-line and arguably at LB. As yes we need to improve for 2020 want to be able to be in a position to be at the best of the AFC East in 2021 and beyond. I'm all for bringing a mid priced ticket to replace LorAx and improve our WRs after Brown and Beasley and maybe a better #2 CB yet we have to remember we also need to reup core guys like Hyde/Poyer/White/Milano too.
Yesterday was a team loss. Offense disappeared in first quarter and after go ahead TD. D let the Patriots keep getting yards and points. That said we were in the game just like pretty much all games this season. This team is making strides. Hopefully they make steps in the playoffs to win games like that.
My worry is Shaq disappears after getting a pay raise. He's been solid this year but still a depth guy. Yet also have concerns with position long term which makes me look to the draft compared to free agency.
Let's see what free agency adds or removes. As we could keep Lawson and Murphy but replace LorAx with someone like Whitney Mercilus that give us added pass rush so need for DE not so much or could adds WR like Allison to give us the size element. This coming off-season going to say a lot about the future of this franchise.
I get Brown and Beasley are better players than Foster. I thought at the start of preseason that Foster was better than McKenzie yet it's as if their roles switched this season. I'm shocked but maybe Foster lacks something whether it be desire, good practice habits etc. Either way both feel like are depth WRs and if we going to keep running 3 WR fronts we need someone better or add a dimension that we lack. I know Allison in Green Bay has some size on him and could be a spot starter/depth WR I'd look at. I also like the WR from Liberty in the draft.
