  1. I remember he was supposed to be a breakout player for the Vikings a few years ago and then disappeared. He does have a Carolina connection too as spent some time with the Panthers so who knows. I'm sure some team will bring him to camp but don't see him as anything better then a depth guy now.
  2. If we could gurantee he'd be the next Gronk but I don't see that in Hockenson, he's the best of this class but think he's a teen-mid twenties pick. So to me I trade down and gather more picks and in the mid teens take the best available guy then.
  3. I wouldn't say 0 for 8 as we got 2 draft picks from those 8 (Mccaron and Newhouse) and Star helped this defense as we were horrible against the run in 2018 and that improved in 2019. Murphy struggled with injuries but showed good things at times. Ivory was good in spots, I think he's an average backup. Bodine was our best signing.
  4. I fully expect Carter and Bojorquez to be competing for the job.
  5. Now we just need the Patriots to find a Hatfield.
  6. Some team will take him earlier than that but if he did tear the ACL his 1st round dreams are gone.
  7. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000991118/article/behind-the-o-line-colts-authoring-incredible-turnaround-up-front This article makes it sounds like a mix yet seems to talk a lot about zone blocking.
  8. As pointed out elsewhere, he has ties to DaBoll and Johnson. He started at RT for the Lions as was okay. At least he'd be good depth.
  9. Remember the name LaAdrian Waddle.
  10. A starting olineman that won't count in the draft pick compensation formula is nice. $4-5 million per season isn't horrible either.
  11. James isn't worth that kind of money.
  12. Don't forget the name OT LaAdrian Waddle Has ties to Daboll in New England and both of our new offensive line coaches. He infact started in Detroit though he may not be upgrade to Jordan Mills but should be cheaper or maybe better depth than what we have now.
  13. Or he could go to the Jets and complete his AFC East tour.
  14. I'll be out of town but will DVR a game or two and watch it when get back just to see how good/bad it will be.
  15. Kelvin Harmon, great size, good speed and college production aka prototype #1 WR. I think he goes in the mid teens -early twenties.
  16. I could see them draft a TE in the 1st (Irv Smith Jr) or maybe take a flyer on Kyler Murray.
  17. Umm the drumline was okay.
  18. The same front office that signed Duke Williams? or Trent Murphy? Yes hitting a woman is not something I'd advocate for yet he was in high school at the time and he's kept his nose clean and played to his talent level since starting school. He's on my short list of possible Kyle Williams replacements if stay at #9. See Josh Allen.
  19. He's on my list of UFAs I'd sign, I just see him as a complimentary WR (in Woods/Marvin Jones mold) not a true number 1.
  20. Woods has been healthier yet skill wise Sammy's better.
  21. He's not Sammy good, yet he might be Robert Woods good with a little more speed.
  22. Chud's never been a QB coach and not sure I want him taking that first job with us. Personally I would have preferred Chud as our OC over Daboll.
  23. The bolded guys are the one's I'd focus in on as not sure Jordan wants to be a coach. Jim Bob has some ties to Daboll from their KC days and he did some good things for Matt Stafford.
  24. Cooter's interesting as he seemed to do well in his first year as the Lions OC but then slowly fall apart. I'd welcome him because I know him as a name and he has worked with a big armed QB in the past (Stafford) and has time with Daboll. Yet if had to choose between him and Dorsey I think I'd take the latter.
