An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
The Jokeman replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
My point being yes. McDermott botched the last 13 seconds which lead to a tie but he had no control of the coin flip. Also why do the players get a pass? That's all I'm saying. -

So what offensive minded HC is going fix the defense? -

And if we win the coin flip and score first does the 13 seconds matter? -

You could play that game 100x and I'd imagine we'd win almost 90% of the time. McDermott played the odds in lost thanks to great play by 3 HOF caliber players in Mahomes, Hill and Kelce in those 13 seconds. -

I'm just saying coaching and players can be blamed for losses as well as a coin flip. It's not only coaching. -
Fire McD and Hire Belichek after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs
The Jokeman replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
And who's going to fix our "piss poor" defense? I'm saying this in jest but seriously. Everyone wants to bring in a great offensive mind but is it worth it at expense of defense? As yes the D was horrible yesterday but what DC do we get? As great as McVay was his D gave up more than ours did. -
Injuries have killed us on D in the post season.

I agree but that isn't my point. -

Point being if Bills win coin flip things may have ended differently. -
Maybe keep him on PS and sign him to a futures contract in off-season and let Hamlin walk in UFA.

Cuz McDermotts coaching cost us a coin flip in 13 seconds game and he made Bass miss the FG last year? Yes. McDermott gets some blame but I can't blame him for everything. -
Dan Marino made One Super Bowl in part he played on teams not good enough. His Dolphin teams never had a Bruce Smith or a Thurman Thomas nor a Terrell Davis. Is Don Shula to blame for that? Let's face it Pat Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones are a better trio than just Josh. That said Kelce looks average this season and KC offense looks suspect and not sure they have the secondary that can match all of weapons. Yesterday makes us pause of the poor defensive play but it was an exception not a rule.

I agree keep Hyde off the field for now.

He's been one of our weaker defenders all season. Yet he's a former 6th round pick. I'm more upset over invisible Oliver.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
The Jokeman replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
They haven't had Puka and Cooper on the field at the same time most of the season. -

Big miss there, if we get first down we might also get a few more yards and have enough time to get in FG range. -
Josh put his Superman cape on today

Unless Burrow has an off the charts game there is no good reason for JA17 to not get AFC OPOW this week. His 3 rushing TDs alone were more than any other runner in the entire league and is 2nd in rushing yards. -

Please tell us who is the coach we don't have that will put us over the hump? Everyone is quick to blame McDermott but have yet to see someone name a coach that is available and would put us over the hump. It's easy to blame coaches but sometimes players have to be accountable, is it the coaches problem that our LS got pushed aside like a rag doll? Was it the coach that made Ingram "hold" on 3rd down? Did a coach cause the refs to miss an obvious false start on 4th down? McDermott had poor clock management at the end as I was screaming for us to call timeout before the two minute warning but that said it was a team loss both from the players and refs. Josh was great most of the game but his slow start wasn't helpful either. As early on he was clearly not the calm self we've seen most of this season, Tom Brady mentioned he was taking things that weren't there etc. Sure he came back from it but it did put us in what turned out an unfermentable hole. -
Chiefs are playing with house money right now, the law of averages say they're going to lose one of these games sooner than later. Whether it be in the regular season or the post season. I'm honestly not afraid if we have to play them in the playoffs.

McD will be the scapegoat to hide the real issue this week

Stafford is a debatable HOF, Macias and KIPP are too end WRs and their RB was like 4th in rushing coming into the game. That offense hasn't been healthy all season until today.
