  1. It depends on who we have behind him? Also at what level is Cook playing at? If he's a top 5 guy again I think you should re-sign him as long as it's not going to break the bank. By that time think Von's contract should be off the books so can use the money on Cook as needed. Yet we're still talking two more full seasons to play which is a long time for a RB.
  2. I think Beane's long term plan was to keep Diggs until his deal ran out, yet something happened last season that derailed all that maybe it was Diggs reaction to McDermott's preseason comments, maybe it was the Week 1 explosion by Josh maybe it was Diggs ineptness in the last 13 weeks and us going on a run with him producing far less than his contract or maybe Stefon asked for a trade after the season ended? The only one who knows for sure was Beane so he pieced together the best group he felt he could. I mean most fans didn't want to bring Gabe back at the contract he got. I admit I was shocked we traded Diggs but in retrospect think we got fair value for what ended up happening in Houston. In terms of trading for Jefferson, I don't think there was anyway we'd get him. As sure he was available but it seemed the caveat was as long as the Vikings got Nabors. As we saw they didn't so they stuck with Jefferson. Now could the Bills have added another veteran outside of Samuel or Hollins? Sure but Beane is trying to build up his roster and not going all in for 2024-25. He knows he could have another decade or so of strong play with JA17 so no need to blow our wad in one offseason. Now he has $13 million or so in cap room and even more going into next season but with Samuel and Coleman under contract and who knows maybe we see an in season trade for a guy like to what we saw when traded for Rasul Douglas last season? To help us for the playoff push if need it?
  3. Todd Collins is upset with you.
  4. Incase anyone missed it we cut Matt Haack yesterday, looks like we could be targeting a big name punter
  5. Do the math again. The West Coast be watching kickoff at 10:00 am.
  6. and millions of people on non EST have watched early games on most Sundays, yes?
  7. Erm London only 6 hours ahead of EST, which could lead to a Super Bowl around 1:00 pm EST. I realize it's usually played in prime time but considering the world audience could get if start 6-7 European time the NFL might try it. As can imagine more European/Asian views would offset most of the lost North/South American viewers.
  8. His size could be enough as a DE, I would think his lack of height could work to his advantage as could slip underneath OTs and rush to QBs. The question then would be if he has enough foot speed to get to a QB and athletic enough to take a QB down legally. I don't mind taking a chance at this juncture, at best think he'll be a PS member yet don't expect him to make it that far once preseason starts.
  9. Watching highlights the closest guy to OJ's combination of size/speed in my opinion was Bo Jackson.
  10. dang we missed our chance at drafting a big nickel!!!!!!!
  11. I grew up in Buffalo but won't lie as a kid/teenager was a Raiders fan as have a cousin (through marriage) that played with them. Toss in was a big fan of Marcus Allen with his closeness to OJ Simpson. Yet after the 51-3 whiplashing by the Bills I changed sides.
  12. hey kids look Big Ben/Parliament.
  13. I don't mind it being there but be sure to fix that field as last thing you want is teams getting players hurt in the most important game of the season. He played at Miami of Ohio
  14. He's been available in the past and made no attempt to get him. I have to believe there's no interest. He isn't horrible by his stats but his inability to stick with a team for long means he's either looking for a bigger contract all the time or he isn't well liked for whatever reason.
  15. That or justify he deserves franchise money, aka QB purgatory. Personally I think better to cut bait sooner than later yet way that team is built, if you fail getting someone as good as Tua it could be another Cleveland situation which is even worse IMO.
  16. That or just let him play out his contract and draft a rookie in 2025. Unlikely but wouldn't be shocked since they waited so long.
  17. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for last season if he was indeed injured. That said he needs to step up this season and be on the field, even if it's as a Dane Jackson replacement or first man off the bench as an outside CB. I agree that when we drafted him questioned his ability yet Thad Brown comments are questionable at best, as Kair's draft profile felt could play as a zone corner and had the ability to play well in a Cover 3. Reading his profile now that "Elam has early CB3 and eventual CB2 value as a press and zone corner." seems to be a fair assessment.
  18. This was the last Bills game I attended. Picking up my mom at the Buffalo airport in the 90s, and I ran into Frank Reich.
  19. Archane is a weapon yet with his small size he's also a guy that can get injured and miss time as we saw last season.
  20. I agree with you as the problem is as a group outside of Kincaid none of them would be definite as elite and/or great as individuals so some fail to see it. I mean look at the Ravens, I think most would agree that we don't have anyone near as good as Andrews but beyond Andrews would say the rest of ours are better then the rest of theres. I realize some will debate Andrews and Zay Flowers are better than what we have at #1 TE and #1WR but again past that think our overall group simply better or as a famous philosopher said years ago the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
  21. Worthy's going to grow 5 inches and gain 39 lbs? That be really impressive.
  22. Disney is cut throat culture.
  23. Toss in they had a kicker that can make a kick late with the game on the line.
  24. Justin Armour
