Milano is a good not great player, I think he's the type you need to win but not over pay for. I hate making this comparison but is first one that came to mind but similar to Tedy Bruschi.
I think Waddle is a decent depth guy and he did start his first few years when our online coach was in Detroit. To me he's a low cost guy who could likely contribute but wouldn't count on him to start.
Lawson admitting he played under motivation for a contract a tad worrisome. I admit when we drafted him I was a big fan but he hasn't lived up to said hype. If he's looking for top level salary I let him walk and draft his replacement who hopefully replaces Hughes when his contact ends. I think it be wise to also add a vet to replace LorAx who can also contribute to the pass rush.
If we sign Cooper we aren't drafting a WR early. I could see signing a guy like Allison to compete for the 3/4 spot and if a guy they like falls to us in Round 2 doing that with our top pick being at DE to replace Shaq and eventually replacing Hughes.
On the Online I keep Spain but look for a veteran to compete at RT. Maybe Waddle comes back.
We won't get that, they don't want to admit guilt on this it will swept under the carpet and tile be rewritten next year and most people will forget this ever happened.
ESPN just had a great discussion on this. The rule clearly states a player must fal to ground or kneel AND make no effort to advance. The ref called it based on the rulebook but was superceded by off field officials who interpreted the player's action. Yet Tim Hasselbeck stated in victory formation the QB has to take a knee before passing it to a ref etc. We got hosed on this one and now I'm angrier than before.
