I was on a final write-up by putting the term BS (not the word just the letters) in a report I filed for a follow up with one of our clients. The only reason I didn't lose my job is had a stellar record before hand and it wasn't a client facing document. I look back and shake my head in disbelief at my stupidity. In less than a month I'll be with the same company (in various names) for 15 years.
It's just because he doesn't have great athleticism, I agree with your assessments of where he'll be drafted and player better than his draft position.
I get it but if we're looking for a size WR who can play on the outside and be in our top 3 (with Brown and Beasley) I like talking a pass rusher to replace Shaq in Round 1 like Weaver and a guy like Michael Pittman Jr in Round 2.
Roman has shown he can produce offense for guys like Kapaernick, Taylor and Jackson. Yet most QBs aren't that athletic so Roman might not fit in somewhere like Cleveland or NY where their QBs are more classic drop back passer types.
How could he challenge it? The on the field ref felt the player didn't give himself up on the play whereas the men in black did who overrode the ref on the field's call. I'm pretty sure they're the ones that typically make calls on instant replays yet up until now don't think most fans, including me, know about them.
Edmunds is hit and miss, he's still developing yet think he's out of position. As with his size and pass rush ability to me he's better on the outside. Granted we don't have a better MLB option now but love if we did.
Knox does need to improve but when he did catch the ball he made some great plays for a TE. At this point I wouldn't hand him the starting job next season but he can be a contributor if schemed right/improves his play etc.
I'm not sure I'd count Harrison Phillips. He's a great guy but a depth DT at most thus far.
Yeah that other guy and all his FG talk had me at wits end. I mean it felt like he wanted to jinx is by keep talking about Haushka never missed, this is the same distance as Norwood etc etc.
Spain has supposedly said he wants to be here and work out something before UFA begins. To me that says he really wants to be here or is just worried he won't be brought back if we elect to not re-sign him early. Personally I want him here and I get why people want to shift Ford but man Spain was solid this year.
Devin Funchess might be a cheap guy that could pay devidends. He's not a number 1 but he could easily be in our top 3 and give us the size many are clamoring for.
Our O line isn't great, it improved from 2018 yet still have questions at RT and possibly LG pending what we do with Spain. I get people want to improve the skill positions yet I can't see sacrificing draft picks for a guy like OBJ as again we need more than him.
And what do think we'll have to give up for him? This team isn't an OBJ away from taking the next step. We lack quality depth at G, LB, need a starting RT, LB, TE and CB and couldn't hurt to get a depth S and competition at P.
