Brandon Aiyuk officially requests a trade
The Jokeman replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jauan Jennings maybe next man up since he was their 3rd WR last season. It will be interesting to see who wins out. -
I like it but makes me think of the Sabres changing over to black, red and white and the goathead. Obviously they changed back for a reason and would hope we stick with our current color scheme too.

I think Fina and Jerry O sometimes show up some fan sites Youtube channel as could have sworn predraft saw them on a Youtube video. Fina came off a bit of a snobbish in the video tbh. -
Who is on your All-Time Buffalo Bills Mt. SHUSHmore?
The Jokeman replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
1. Doug Flutie, he divided the locker room and fanbase like no other. 2. Doug Marrone, he pretty much made EJ Manuel a wasted pick by not starting him and then left town and left us to deal with it. 3, Mike Williams I wanted Bryant McKinnie as had big time doubts Mike could shift to LT, he was so bad he couldn't even start at RG. 4. Ralph Wilson, people may praise him for keeping the team in Buffalo but he was a horrible owner IMO.- 115 replies

We might have an all in one in that kid we signed from SDSU.

Hall was actually a pretty good kick return guy in college. I'd say sleeper candidate for the final 53 if he can make it to the 91*.

Ahem it's Kelly's Korner but I agree, great wings and beef on wick.

Steelers sign head coach Mike Tomlin to 3-year contract extension
The Jokeman replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with your last statement, I give Tomlin credit for all the winning seasons yet I don't consider him a great HC. As his teams typical fizzle come the playoffs. I realize he won a Super Bowl his first season but how many years ago was that and what have the Steelers done in the playoffs since then? -
Do think Beane will make any trades before week 1?
The Jokeman replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
A GMs job is never done, it all depends on what happens in the preseason and what comes available or as someone mentioned Clapp could get the Russell Bodine treatment and be moved if he doesn't make the 53 now that we drafted Van Pran-Granger. -
Post Your All-Star Bills Roster…of Backups?
The Jokeman replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
We didn't know what we had in Jackson as he came in the same year as Lynch. I agree drafting Spiller was a mistake as I was banging the drum in that draft to take Dez Bryant prior to the draft. -

I loved Holmes, I thought for sure he was going to succeed Thurman but before I knew it he got traded to Green Bay. -

Eric Moulds was a backup his first two seasons, he wasn't a great backup but was a great starter. Fred Jackson was a good backup to Lynch. -
Without. Oh, Rusty!

I'm surprised more fans aren't pounding for Beane to trade them Knox with Waller retiring.

Me and my wife grabbed some tickets for Lionel Ritchie and Earth, Wind and Fire for June 15th . A lot less expensive than I expected hopefully it's a good show.

It depends on who we have behind him? Also at what level is Cook playing at? If he's a top 5 guy again I think you should re-sign him as long as it's not going to break the bank. By that time think Von's contract should be off the books so can use the money on Cook as needed. Yet we're still talking two more full seasons to play which is a long time for a RB.

Jefferson gets paid: 4yr, $140m contract signed
The Jokeman replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Beane's long term plan was to keep Diggs until his deal ran out, yet something happened last season that derailed all that maybe it was Diggs reaction to McDermott's preseason comments, maybe it was the Week 1 explosion by Josh maybe it was Diggs ineptness in the last 13 weeks and us going on a run with him producing far less than his contract or maybe Stefon asked for a trade after the season ended? The only one who knows for sure was Beane so he pieced together the best group he felt he could. I mean most fans didn't want to bring Gabe back at the contract he got. I admit I was shocked we traded Diggs but in retrospect think we got fair value for what ended up happening in Houston. In terms of trading for Jefferson, I don't think there was anyway we'd get him. As sure he was available but it seemed the caveat was as long as the Vikings got Nabors. As we saw they didn't so they stuck with Jefferson. Now could the Bills have added another veteran outside of Samuel or Hollins? Sure but Beane is trying to build up his roster and not going all in for 2024-25. He knows he could have another decade or so of strong play with JA17 so no need to blow our wad in one offseason. Now he has $13 million or so in cap room and even more going into next season but with Samuel and Coleman under contract and who knows maybe we see an in season trade for a guy like to what we saw when traded for Rasul Douglas last season? To help us for the playoff push if need it?
