  1. He did when they replayed from the front it was clear. I don't blame the refs for this one as most calls looked legit but of course every game has a call or two that can be questioned that were made and weren't. We simply lost because we got outplayed. The Josh fumble and big run to start the 2nd half is what did us in.
  2. He had his moments yesterday see the TD but he also looked slow at times when he get tackled from behind or not make it past the line of scrimmage. I still like the kid but not sure he'll ever be an featured RB in the league.
  3. What do we do in UFA first? I could see us taking a WR somewhere in the draft. I don't consider it the most pressing need, I'd put RB ahead of that because Singeltary looked slow to me yesterday and while Gore's had his moments am not sure we keep him around long term. We still have UFAs to sign. I think we keep Jordan as he having a career year and he seems to love playing here. One could argue he's been our best D-lineman this year.
  4. If anyone says no to this I have questions on what it would take them to say yes.
  5. We don't need another speed WR, we need a guy with Duke Williams size but a better resume, I know he's been out forever but signing a guy like Dez Bryant be interesting and not cost us any draft picks.
  6. AJ is rumored to be out until October 29th, I don't think trading for an injured WR that due to be an UFA a wise investment, if anything we should be looking for O-line or TE help.
  7. That be interesting pairing as the Titans do have an improving defense and WR core slightly better than what New England has and Henry is an okay RB and they do have Dion Lewis who played well when healthy in New England.
  8. To backup Jimmy G? I don't think so, I think Brady retires assuming they win another Super Bowl unless he and BB want to play another year or two so Brady can own all the QB records. Hoyer's in Indy, the Patriots' backup QB is rookie Jarrett Stidham.
  9. Chung and Jamie Collins are pretty good players too, granted Chung has been hurt. Also not sure what's gotten into Van Noy but he's been playing amazing this season.
  10. They weren't cheating but they were definitely playing to the letter of the rule, much like they did when they had that weird formation against the Ravens a few years back. It's what the Patriots have done the last few years to exploit the rules as much as they can do allow things help them. While I don't like it from a sportsmanship standpoint but he/they has the right to keep doing it as per the rules are right now.
  11. Darnold just looks way too conservative. I'm not sure it's his offense but he plays it safe too much. I admit I liked him more than Allen in the draft as I worried about Josh not being able to be as athletic as he was in the NFL as was in college. Yet I was wrong and now am an Allen fan.
  12. Fair enough but as others have eludes he's being outplayed by 2 others in his draft class. Granted I don't think anyone would have predicted Mahomess but passing on Watson looks foolish.
  13. Safeties won't kill the cap, re-sign them both since they're both playing at a high level and deserve extensions. We have more than enough cap room and no reason to make a hole when we don't have to.
  14. No love for Kwame Cavil or Naaman Roosevelt?
  15. I googled him and huh I don't remember him at all and yet I think he would since we share a birthday but he is 1 year older.
  16. Because Baker won a Heisman, had better college stats etc.
  17. I'm guessing a free agent OT. Isn't he a Jet?
  18. Considering Peterman's on IR that won't happen anytime soon.
  19. There's this thing called the salary cap which prevents getting all these guys.
  20. Not me, Gordon looked horrible against the Broncos yesterday and he's looking for a big pay day. I agree we could use another RB yet not sure Gordon the guy I'd pursue.
  21. Any kick over 45 yards is a gamble but the way Santos was kicking yesterday I think it was a poor choice by Vrabel.
  22. McKenzie/Robert Foster have top end speed yet Daboll's been keeping Josh's long attempts at a minimum this season in part to injuries and think they want Allen to refine his small ball skills etc. Also it allows for longer drives and the defense more rest between series. In terms of the topic of what we need, I still think we need a true #1 TE, Knox may become one in a few seasons but isn't there yet.
