What is the worst ketchup foul you’ve ever witnessed?
The Jokeman replied to BarleyNY's topic in Off the Wall
Last Easter my 40 something year old cousin put ketchup on her easter ham. -
True but after drafting him they did keep him as a 4th QB, I remember thinking it was odd at the time. I think they also had Bledsoe, Rohan Davey and John Freisz.

I grew up listening to the To Russell, My Brother, Whom I Slept With record and then seeing his standup show on HBO. It never gets old serious gut busting stuff. He's kinda like OJ in he was a deplorable person but he was great at his job so why I voted for him.

Question for those who witnessed the SB years?
The Jokeman replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rypein was in a zone that season, the Redskins with that offense and defense was one of the best teams in NFL history. Super Bowl XXV was a winnable game that I blame on the offense more than the defense as yes Andre Reed was taken away but some of the drives we had on offense took less than 3 minutes off the clock which lead to the defense on the field way too long. I also have nightmares of Mark Ingram's 3rd down completion. The first game against the Cowboys was just an absolute slaughter but still think we could have one the second one if we scored a TD after the Nate Odomes INT before halftime. Yet to answer the OP question about feeling of the team, yes this team feels the teams of that era in that the team is really close almost family like. Josh Allen has embraced Buffalo and we have in turn embraced him very much like Jim Kelly maybe even moreso as I wasn't a big Kelly fan because way he shunned us initially and he was very cocky when he first came here. Like Marv I think McDermott does great things in keeping that locker room together moreso than Marv though as Jim, Thurman, Bruce and Andre all have big egos which haven't seen on this team. Yet those teams had far more talent than we have now. -

Would you want to re-sign Isiah McKenzie?
The Jokeman replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If TE Kyle Pitts is there in Round 1 he'd be one of the guys I'd have a tough time not taking. -
He got lost in a numbers game here. As he wasn't good enough to start and we had guys we felt were as good as him on the bench besides we got two picks from him which if not mistaken were parlayed as part of the Diggs trade.

Best single play in Bills history
The Jokeman replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ronnie Harmon's drop in the 1989 AFC division game. Why? If he catches the ball sure we advance but it may have kept him around longer and we may have never seen Thurman Thomas became. Also it made the team develop a hunger to play even harder etc. -
Wilson likely would have never hired Whaley. I could also see him keeping Schwartz if Marrone still left. Meaning no Tyrod and likely more EJ Manuel and no Tyrod and when EJ fails after two or more seasons a veteran like Nick Foles. Also with no Whaley you'd think no Watkins trade up maybe we stay put and draft Beckham who we eventually trade since he doesn't like how he's used here. I think our path not be as well off as is now. Instead we'd likely be a preverbial middle of the pack team.

NFL News - Playoffs and Diversity
The Jokeman replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if this will encourage more minority college coaches getting a chance to be HC in the NFL. Yet at the very least get coordinator jobs that could lead to HC if teams want to try to get compensation picks. -
They can but we might want a stud to replace Milano because we might end up getting a sub par athlete to replace Edmunds in two seasons. It's all about balancing the roster, personally I'd prefer we go after a stud TE in Round 1 next year (see Kyle Pitts) and look for a good LB/CB in Round 2/3 of the draft.

He can't play unless he tests negative of Covid-19 I think on back to back days.

Falcons waive Takk McKinley (claimed by Raiders)

Beasley is a solid player but as others elude think he has a motivation issue. Sad really but he wouldn't be the first player to waste his talent. -

If I remember correctly he had a photo or painting of his grandma. Beasley had 8 sacks last year. -
Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
The Jokeman replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's likely under a long term contract and the advertisers keep it going since people recognize his face or the ads are working. As I admit the dropping the keys at the gate with groceries is entertaining. -

Everybody likes a good underdog and a 6-5 247 lb white QB with a rifle arm and 4.75 speed isn't an underdog by most except when look at his struggles to get a scholarship to a division 1 college. -

Tua Tagovailoa - Future of Miami?

I could see the Jets doing it because they think Bradford could be better with a better surrounding cast and they could get that if got extras 1s and 2s. -
Conan O'Brien trying to make a political joke...

I still get pissed that we didn't try harder for a TD after the Nate Odomes interception just before the half against Dallas in Super Bowl XXVIII to put us up 11 and not 7.
