Hard to get 79 catches when most targets Kincaid or Coleman ever got was 71 in a season. I'll say this over and over on Rice/Worthy's production look at what else Mahomes was throwing to. Guys like Mecole Hardman, Justin Watson, Skyy Moore are guys that likely not even be close to making our top 5 WRs yet they were depth guys for KC and maybe why Rice/Worthy got a lions share of targets. You mention want Rice if he avoids suspension it seems most think he will do that leaves you with Nuca. Great pick by Rams but yeah man gotta say we missed on him but then again so did Veach but I know he a much better GM than Beane.

Oh I've been a Williams supporter since he came out. I've been calling for us to draft him since he declared.

To me Williams should go in the top 45. While I see many draftniks feeling he's around the 40th best prospect in the draft, personally I don't feel it's a reach taking him at 30 while others disagree with me. Yet the way I see it he fits a need and feel harder to find big guys later than sooner in draft that's why I over draft him as 1 tech DTs aren't readily available despite what many think. Toss in we seemingly can develop CBs as seen in guys line Levi Wallace, EJ Gaines, Taron and Benford as non day 1 starters at the position.

AJ Brown to me combines Moulds size, strength and speed, TO also kinda fits the type too.

I'm a Felton fan also like Dont'e Thornton Jr. in Round 4 or 5.

The more I read on this kid (Caldwell) the more I like him as a true NT that we've lacked for the longest time. Yet Williams to me can also 1 tech it and a far better prospect that welcome at pick #30.

Samuel had issues with turf toe in the early part of the season, it was easy to see based on lack of production yet once he got healthy again he showed could make a play or two. I can still see his catch and run to score against KC. If he's healthy the full season and Coleman improves think our offense as scary if not scarier than last season as Palmer gives us another true outside WR threat. In terms of the draft, I can see drafting a guy in Rounds 4-6. Dont'e Thornton Jr would be a nice guy to target as has size and some serious wheels and a guy that can develop the next two-three seasons.

We added a Safety and re-signed Bernard and Rousseau long term and replaced our primary backup outside CB with a player that started for us previously in that position. Toss in we added a versatile player that is suspended for the first six games. We also added a DT that has started in Cleveland/Pittsburgh the last 7 seasons and yes he is suspended the first six games as well. The suspensions hurt no doubt but at the same time the season is a marathon not a sprint.

Williams had 11.5 sacks in 4 seasons and 28 Tackles for loss in 51 games. Compare that to Derrick Brown one of NFL best run defenders had 13 sacks and 35 tackles for loss in 53 college games.

Unless they take Hunter and convince him to play WR.
