  1. I have no reason to say no. He could be another TJ Yeldon in sense could be inactive on game days but does add an element we could use.
  2. I disagree, we've brought in low cost olineman under McBeane era with the exception of Morse. We might take one guy to replace Williams or Feliciano in Round 1 but not shocked if sign a free agent or two in the $2-3 million dollar range to compete to start or provide depth.
  3. Or get a big TE, I'd love 6'6 Hunter Henry but he's going to get paid by someone else am sure.
  4. We need a more reliable guy than Knox. To me guys like Everett and Smith could do that. With the cap tight I'd hope get either at $7m in 2021 and expand it over future years.
  5. I'd rather use big money on a TE and a lower cost speed WR. Yet also need interior oline help and possibly right tackle not to mention CB2 and LB and pass rush.
  6. I wouldn't be shocked if the Patriots drafted Mac Jones with their top pick this year.
  7. Tough to say as think Gabe Davis let us forget what most rookie WRs do. Yet as said in my updated post I'd love to get D'Wayne Eskridge in Round 5 as feel he could replace Brown/Roberts and maybe even McKenzie.
  8. They aren't great but affordable and likely produce better than a rookie.
  9. John Ross might be fast but in an unspectacular WR. If want a Brown replacement I look at Stills, Marvin Hall, Phillip Dorsett before I even consider Ross. Ultimately think we'd be wise to draft someone to replace Brown and Roberts. I'd love getting D'Wayne Eskridge in Round 5.
  10. I'm not apologizing for him as I'd rather see him cut then kept as think Oliver, Zimmer and player X better options. That said I can recognize the difference between a guy that's better suited to play one vs other position. As not all DTs are the same. I mean the beloved Kyle Williams was over 300 too but I'd never ask him to play the nose as that's just not in his skill set.
  11. That's never been the case that I know of unless a recent CBA changed it, I thought it was based on draft position more specifically if selected in the top 10 or not. As this is the rule I knew: The option for top-ten picks is set at an amount equal to the salary of the Transition Tender (set in Article 10, Section 4 of the CBA) for the player’s fourth contract year. This salary is calculated, to put it simply, by finding the average of the top ten highest Prior Year Salaries for players at the same position. Positions are defined by where a player spent the most plays during the previous season (Sec. 7, (a), 31). For players selected between 11th and 32nd in the draft, the same calculation is used to compute their salaries. The difference lies in what is averaged; rather than the top ten, the 3rd-25th highest Prior Year Salaries for the player’s position will be used. 12. I'd also like to see Klein and Matakevich reworked as feel both being over paid for being backup/spot starters.
  13. Exactly he's a penetrating DT not a take on blockers NT, there's a difference. Butler was signed to replace Jordan Phillips and when Star didn't return we kinda forced him to be the big man in the middle yet that's not what he's all about.
  14. Guys on the practice squad have to be signed to a future deal after the season is up. Since he did not get a future deal he's an UFA. We could sign him again yes but as of now he's free to sign anywhere. don't forget Gerald Everett.
  15. Bring in Rutherford to be a hockey czar aka over see the team as a whole asap so we can be prepared for the expansion draft and all that follows.
  16. pfft we can at least swap 7ths with some team at the very least lol
  17. The problem with that is Allen's future years is going to be a big amount of our cap. I think we could see the Bills do a lot of contracts similar to the Jefferson/Butler deals unless there's someone they are really comfortable with. Personally I like going toward lesser proven guys with upside. It's why I've mentioned Dewuane Smooth as an edge rusher option.
  18. We should have beat the Giants, I think we had a shot in the second Cowboys game too.
  19. Fair enough I forget he's been off the team two years, I thought it was one.
  20. He's two years in to a four years, I don't think it wise to extend him just yet.
  21. I'm okay with Star starting but like to add someone to learn behind him, a guy in the mid to late rounds that should be there is Bobby Brown III from Texas A&M. The question with him is motivation, he played with it last season and had great stats, hopefully that continues to his pro journey.
  22. I'm mildly shocked TE wasn't listed being that most that watched this team realized that Knox struggled and that Beane pointed it out in his offseason press conference yet was a fairly good read/analysis.
  23. He's 32 a bit older while might be a good one or two year option we could go younger and be better longer.
